getting the same card with twice the vram wouldn't do any magic anyway. you're good to go mate, if you decide to drop 2xAA I'm sure you'll be ok on ultra settings throughout :)

well, there will be new drivers a day prior to the game's release (not sure if it was nVidia or AMD but I think both). I'm sure they'll give us a few fps increase. then I'm hoping to see the final to be around 3-5fps faster than beta, final being a "finished" build. we will also see some improvements with the first few patches. All in all, I'm sure 10fps on top of what we were getting in the beta is doable if you put it all together.

    EDIT: Vinnie is alive!

Did not have time to try Alfa or Beta so not sure if my rig is powerful enough to play 1080p everything on ultra. Maybe will need to get another 580 to stay at 60+ FPS all the time.

Yes I'm ready to play it but looking like I am going to skip it. Been waiting for skyrim for too long.

Is my PC ready ? Yes, but at this forum, most of people will surely say YES!

As for "normal gamers", not so sure. Interesting to see how well it sells is first few days.

Nope, not ready yet. I still need these things:

    - buy SSD
    - buy Win7 Pro/64
    - 16 GB Ram
    - install as DualBoot next to XP

    - maybe new soundcard (X-Fi drivers for Win7 any good?)
