lol yup more people not knowing how it used to be,it seems they just dont know any better. many loving steam type apps you rent games from,drm,dumbed down games for the masses and hardly anything new to the table. what sucks if they do come up with something decent it gets ruined in no time by greed.
But maybe they will do to console what console have been doing to us for years: Diablo 3 will be out in 2012 and will come out for console later on or delayed.
Funny you mention that, i left PC gaming way back in 2005 becuse it was becoming to expensive a hobbie......now come October 2011 i have just upgraded my old PC and im loving PC gaming again......i still have the console but i found that i have been buying the PC version of games like Dungeon Siege 3, Duke N, Fear 3, and Alice maddness returns, simply becuse they are far cheaper on the PC....and steam has had some great bargains over the last week. So yeah PC gaming could be on the up again.
Ive got all the consoles known to man, but spend all my time away from work on my PC or out on my bike. a pc is so much more than just a games machine, now consoles are going the same way. PC was personal computer now it means personal console!!!
PC is always coming back until the new consoles are out, then its the other way around for a few years, and again , and again - the endless game of life.
