its all good. i look at it like this, i want this game to come out just as bad as the next person. but since its probably gonna get delayed means, dice can fine tune it more while their waiting and in the end, we will benifit from it.

 

Don't worry, Dice have said they will release the pc beta in September even if the console versions get rejected again.

It's EA that want a beta on all platforms at the same time to build massive hype you can sort of understand why.

 

oh did you guys hear that beta version of PC is ready and they can release it today or tomorrow.. but they wont release it because they are waiting for the console version of beta to be confirmed.. WTF!!

 

and I hope the ps3\xbox game will say to start : press the left mouse button.
-to adjust color :use the default profile on your monitor

@people who were taking part in the beta.
I know I asked once before bout gpu & cpu power but you think an i5-750(stock) with a 470 will be able to run the game on high or the best.

 

Honest answer, wait for the beta. The Alpha version had very simple graphics settings which does not reflect the beta/final version. But if you really need an answer, maybe med/high @ 1080.

 

I'd agree wait for beta, but a mix of medium and high would probably suit your setup, the settings are very detailed so you can always mess around with what you want on or off to get the best image/fps.


also just out of interest any reason why you haven't oc'ed your cpu? its a great overclocker even with out voltage changes.

 

hope my 295gtx can handle bf3 maxed out Dx10

I read somewhere that the Xbox version is now also ready, so it looks like we are waiting on Sony now. I'm thinking we will be playing beta this time next week.

 

bang for the buck would be to get a good cooler for the cpu and find a nice overclock , bf3 will\should like fast cores.
-470 you could find 1 more cheap if you feel like you need it.
-that said you should have good game play ,your equipment will be better than most. lots of bf3 forums people are buying less for bf3 1 gig vram cards].
-but see how it plays.
