Well, it looks like Call of Duty's hardened edition has become a reality this week. $10.00 off of all DLC, and 1 year of Call of Duty "Elite", a subscription based service that will cost $50.00 per year, that gives you and your guild bonus Exp. Don't get me wrong, I already preordered BF3 on Origin, but I am getting this game as well for my 360. The question is, what do you guys think about this "COD ELITE" Subscription based service, and the perks of leveling faster etc... Personally I dislike it, but I own almost every Collector's edition released on 360/PS3 ( Its my House Art.)
i would say id buy, it then use it for target practice. but that game isnt worth the price of my .338 ammo id use. yea i know, im an evil bastard
I have all the collectors editions they released for PC... CoD 2, 4 and 5 There probably won't be a hardened edition of MW3 for PC as MW2 and BO didn't have any special versions for PC. I'd get an Elite subscription (if the price stays) as I like the idea better to have a new map each month instead of the packs. It'd also be cheaper that way. Dedicated server files, LAN support, maybe this will be the true sequel to MW1.
I would only care if it came out on PC. As of now, Elite is for the consoles. There will be a PC version, but it will be modify for PC gamers and the dedicated servers.
Yep, got it ordered, of course. Can't not buy it. Love me some Call of Duty, and honestly, from everything Ive seen up to and including COD XP.. Can't freakin wait. Gettin BF3 too no doubt. Wouldn't miss that one for the world. ...BOTH?!?!?! Seriously though.. It'd be nice if this was for the PC, but I don't mind. Big games like MW3 I buy on PC and one of the consoles anyway. Likely will be xbox360 because of the earlier DLC packs.
Jman, how do you justify it though? I mean I'm caught in a position where I have friends on both 360/PC getting both BF3 and MW3 and it's like...$59.99 x 4 to play with everyone :| bit ridiculous lol.
