I just read Witcher 2 update will be out next month with major performance improvements. Lets hope we don't need better drivers after that.

Well yes, the patch 2.0 will bring multiple technical fixes, and before the 2.0 patch nvidia will release their 285.xx drivers

And then i hope the game will be finally achieve 100% performance possible and stability. :)

I used it once and screwed up my PC. Driver Sweeper is overrated. What i do:

    1) Uninstall old Drivers thru Windows Control Panel -> Programs and Features.
    2) Reboot.
    3) Check any remaining nVidia Folders in C:\ and delete them.
    4) Run CCleaner Registry Cleaner.
    5) Reboot
    6) Check if it says Default VGA Adapter in Device Manager.
    7) Install new Drivers.
    8) Reboot.
    9) Wait till rebooted ... a wait SSD, done.

Well, they work great for me aswell. But the "Driver Stopped Responding" issue drives me nuts!

    So very true :)

People shouldn't complain to nVidia about "drivers sucks, this and that". Get a console then.

Sadly enough 280.26 gives "Driver Stopped Responding" issues for me so i went back to 275.33 wich runs fine. No big deal, ill just wait my turn :)

I never complained? I just sad it's not working well for me so i revert to older drivers and wait my turn.

Is that a complain already these days, where is it going in this world.

Seems it's mainly 500 users that got the "Driver Stopped Responding" issue. Because apart from that they run perfectly fine and have indeed a nice performance boost.

I went back to 275.33 for now, they run completely error free.

Will wait for the next release, see if it's better :)

As usual, no problems with this driver set for me, or in the last WHQL or the one before that.

No driver stopped responding issues, no application crashes, and no increase in GPU temp over regular usage. Overclocks are still the same, and just as stable.

Game performance is good, all in all nothing to complain about at all.

Finally got 60fps in Crysis (tweaked) and Metro 2003 with these drivers. And +2fps in Unigene Benchmark. Games are running great. Civ 5 is crashes occasionally but it could be due to all the mods I'm running. Crysis still crashes on certain levels but doesn't seem to driver specific.

i've had no issues except my primary gpu goes to 3d clocks when using my web browser. hopefully they fix that asap! other than that it's a great driver for me.

well i found my problem. my overclock was the culprit. so i flashed the stock bios back on and now 280.26 is running like a champ.

so i manually adjusted my clocks per driver to where i would start crashing in occt. here are my results.

2070.61 whql: (1000/2000/2300 @1075mv) perfectly stable. only use those clocks when i bench. any other time, i use whats in my sig.

275.27 beta: (925/1850/2300@1075mv) occt crashed within 4 sec of the test running. raised volts to 1087mv. started occt gpu test and instant bsod. dropped clocks to 900/1800/2275 @1050mv. perfectly stable

    275.33 whql. same as above.

275.50 beta: anything higher than 900/1800/2100 and i get and instant wsod when occt gpu test started. no matter what volts i took it to. stopped at 1150mv.

280.19 beta: 2x bsod upon opening afterburner. never go to try these out.

    280.26 whql: (950/1900/2250 @1087mv) perfectly stable.

does anyones else find this odd? shouldnt i be able to have the same clocks and volts on every driver?

heh weird, i played with my Factory OC with all drivers and didnt have stuff like that, but i got 1 red screen followed by a black screen (no signal) by Rift (275.50 or 275.65Q?) so that was a good enough sign for me to stay away from those drivers. It was the only game i ever saw stuff like that..And right before it happened i heard my fan slowing down a bit and then it froze..

Also could be 560TI and its "weaker" voltage control (actually it could be SW only, instead of HW like on my gpu) >> end result less stable if you OC.

Im gonna try 280.26 in win7, but idk if im gonna use them for long.. i hate this full3d clock bug in adaptive apps..

Well i used them in winXP for FEAR1 Combat and they're ok, but adaptive apps. bug remained..

    edit:
like i thought, what a mess... up to 50C just by browsing wdf..

Common nv bring that "amazing" fixed beta already.

I only installed these to test Dirt2 and Dirt3 if it stops CTD, but i doubt its gonna be any different unless i play in maximized window..

    apologies for asking off topic:
I am experiencing crash to desktop while running NFS Hot Pursuit 2010.
I am using 275.33 WHQL now.
Rest of the games seem to be running fine.
    Please suggest. :)

try another driver and see if that helps. 270.61 seems the most stable for me.
