every time i check the news there is a firefox release, what the hell are they adding? im still using IE9 and is just perfect
Honestly the only reason I'm using FF is because it blocks ads like a mother****er :nerd: I think Chrome has Adblockplus as well, doesn't it? but my friend always tells me how with Chrome sometimes ads slip by where as with FF I honestly never see an ad, at least 99.9% of the time. If anyone can confirm to me how good Chrome in adblocking, then I might just switch b/c I see it's faster than FF according to Tom's recent browser benchs
Guys u do realize that it's free right? and for the record chrome updates way more. it they wanna put out FF 20 tomorrow,i wouldn't matter,as long as it faster and stable than previous versions
people dont care about the updates, they care about the numbering scheme added another tail to the fox, firefox 9.0 out
i will not use chrome because of privacy issues with it. i like firefox because i am used to it but man it has started to slow down recently with plugins, even considering giving opera a try.
Free or not, people don't like having to update software every couple days. Corporate customers are even less willing to update on such a rapid release schedule and made it very clear to Mozilla of their discontent over the rapid release cycle. I've seen no issues with privacy in regards to Chrome....at least no more than any other browser. My issue is instability. If I try to use Chrome for "normal, everyday web-browsing" it does nothing but crash. It reminds me too much of Opera in it's early days. I still won't use Opera because of it's early faults. They focused too much on "new features" and not enough on quality.
No ones putting a gun to your head and telling you to upgrade to this beta. And if you think Mozilla releases too often you should give chrome a try on their beta channel.
the f***ing survey insta-flashing across my screen, and to boot with an appropriate audio begging me to fill the details.
You mean THIS? That does not even work on surveys all the time. Change IP, clear cookies and cache, and try again Also I have no intent to use my browsing so adblock can learn what to block. I can click away...its easier rly
^ looks like someone has a ****ed up system full of tracking cookies. No surveys with FF 6 (no adblock), IE9 and Iron.
I thought I told u it doesn't get activated every time Clear cookies, cache, history etc etc, change the IP... AND THEN get back to us
