"Clean install" removes only driver settings. The old driver is always removed by the setup since 260 drivers.

When you click on Recycle Bin ( highlight ) on Desktop, is it a bit greenish ? Mine it is, since I installed 280.26.

Considering the hundreds of games both new and old, there are actually very few SLi related issues.
The Homefront shadow flicker issues has been there since march when the game was released, but it only happens when viewing the map from above so it doesn't bother me.

Mine haven't stayed on reboot where I set them for a long, long time. I'm running Windows x64 so not sure if that's the issue. Anyone got any tips how to overcome this annoying aspect?

Lost 1 fps on Dirt 3

I lost about 1 fps on Dirt 3 benchmark, going from 275 WHQL to 280 WHQL, max settings with 8xQCSAA:

    275: results samples="6465" min_fps="56.625984" av_fps="61.789806" min_fps_ms="17.659737" av_fps_ms="16.183899"

    280: results samples="6551" min_fps="55.271481" av_fps="61.187569" min_fps_ms="18.092514" av_fps_ms="16.343189"

I had two somewhat strange issues after loading this driver...(one was self-induced)...the other I'm still a bit unsure about. After the initial driver load, I started my Steam-based version of RACE07. The first car (fastest in line) and the timing menu for that car started flashing. It was then that I remembered that I had not re-selected SLI in the Nvidia control panel. Second run everything was fine. The other issue was Physx. During the driver loading process, the menu stated that it had loaded all components. It had NOT (as was evident when I loaded DIRT3 and saw no 'kick-up at the wheels. It was not listed in the add/remove programs either. I had to load it separately. Not a big deal. Other than that...driver works okay for me. No issues with BFBC2 either.

Install went well. I did my 10min BC2 benchmark and it ran smooth.

Crysis 2 "Power Out" doesn't have the transparent gun and buildings rendering in-and-out as you move the mouse around anymore, so that's good, and it runs smooth too.

Third thing i tried was 3DM11. Still can't complete a run (since 275.33)
I was getting driver recover errors and/or freezing/hard lock, have to reset the computer.

    More testing after work tomorrow...

Have any overclocks that might be causing it? :p

On the topic of bfbc2, working great on my single 460

Did a clean install on Win7x64 and i've not no option to install PhysX with these drivers? Can I download it separately, is it a bug?

Edit: Found it for download separately, but it's weird that it isn't on the driver install. At least not for me...

    Yes
NVIDIA recently changed the way the installer deals with PhysX. There is some algorithm to detect whether or not it actually needs (re)installing. In any event, you don't need to redownload PhysX because it's already included in the driver package (extract it with 7-zip if you must).

And on a related note, the PhysX installer is not compatible with safe mode (just like any other .msi package that relies on the Windows Installer).

Changing from surround to sli and to single gpu is getting faster and faster with every release. Hopefully they will be implementing multi monitor profiles soon. Man I remember when it use to take forever to enable surround
