Aw man, and your sooooo close to breaking 30. I'm babying mine along until I cross over 30 this week. My CPU is having problems running stable and my second video card is very picky about what clock setting I'm running the CPU at. I've replaced about everything but the motherboard. :bang: I've read several articles where they are stable with 4.2ghz and 1.35v with this CPU. I'm up to 1.42v and it's still less than 90% stable. I'm trying to decide what motherboard to put in it.

for what it's worth, i've got my rig at a stable point now. smp and 2 gpu cores running almost 24/7. I only take the cores down to play a few games after work. I'll try messing with the v7 and get my other gpu running. I might be good for 20k ppd or so with all 3 gpu's and the smp running. It's no replacement for ian's water cooled rig, but every bit helps right?

That sucks. I know a little what that feels like. The power cord to my pump came lose. I just happen to be doing some web surfing on it when I noticed the CPU temps going up. Barely saved it. I'll have my replacement motherboard early next week. My score will drop off while I get it swapped out and tweaked. Went with the Rampage III Extreme. Hopefully not for too long.

I like these 10xxx and 11xxx projects, low temperatures and high ppd:) about 17-17.5 k ppd. The difference of temperature between these projects and the 68xx is about 10 C. The only thing that I don't like is that the cpu is going just 95%.

Looks like my main system is going to be down for a little while. I think I found why my two GTX 470's died. A chip on the motherboard blew.:bolt:

Now i just need another pcie motherboard for the 8800gt...

Atleast my ppd will be a little better now with the nvidia card. :)
