GPU usage isn't really an indicator. They should ban GPU monitors.

GPU usage does in some way show how well the driver can route the data on your system.
But low GPU usage can also be sign of high DPC Latency and other things that can be wrong, so that is something people should check before pointing at the driver.

Yeah but some people calling to Ban him is bit harsh for something so irrelavent...i mean he posts in different coloured letters and numbers...so what...read the post and reply or move on as usual:)

Some games don't need or will not optimize a GPU. I don't get pissed when some old game doesn't use 100% of my 480 GPU. In fact, I like using D3DOverider to limit my fps (and the heat). In online games...I never use vsync. Every bit of performance is great.

For something like Witcher 2...well, it's a smooth 60 fps for me. Good enough.

On my old 60Hz monitor I used V-sync and triple buffering too, to avoid tearing, specially for mmo's that give high fps even with max in-game settings.
With a 120Hz more fps is nice for 3DVision thou, so it really depends on how and with what equipment you are gaming.

Lost Planet 2 DX11 works perfectly fine here with the 280.19 betas.

hopefully non-existent and never to exist :)

not quite sure why you want it? its not better from what i have seen.

p.s it has issues with shogun2 i think which is ironic since ati had rights to do the aa/dx11 for the game. and no am not an ati hater :)

FXAA being better than MLAA is nobody's opinion, it's a fact. It performs better and it looks better. They have even developed a separate version for consoles. Games with deferred shading either have to use AA like this or (if they have DX11) take a disproportionate (compared to other engines) performance hit for MSAA or to take a massive performance hit and use SSAA (which still blurs textures so might as well use a fine tuned FXAA).

    Since testing these drivers i've had 2 CTD's in BC2 and 1 in BF2.
    Back to 270.61

These fixed texture corruption which occurred with 275 series drivers in BC2 for me.
GPU usage is higher though compared to previous series and cause of that temps are a little higher.
Needed to make higher fan profile on my default clocked SLI set as the default fan profile wasn´t high enough.
Had little texture corruption with the default fan profile.
After that all seems to be butter smooth.

Will report if something fails... :coffee: :approval:

We are prejudice against the letter U. That is why the Wii U will fail in the US and why we are all hypocrites. :funny::funny:

Hmm finally got to try BF3 with SLI. SLI does work now 98-99% usage on both GPUs, but getting flickering on the shadows.

Anyone else in the BF3 Alpha seeing that?

100 fps on "high" on such a system...sounds like a poor optimized engine. That means people with a PC like me will run it at Medium 30 fps.

    GG Dice.

Seems like BBC2 is not fixed for me with 2x GTX275 in SLI.... I still get the totally unplayable flashing and artifacts.
