Geforce 280.19 Beta Driver Released

Fixed all my rFactor stutters with vsync on! finally!:banana:

 

Ah my bad. I thought you were having issues not being able to de-select those options when trying to install them. Anyway all is good with that side of things.

 

i'll give them a try when i get home, seems that there's no improvement for The Witcher 2.

 

What engine does this game use

 

They lied to us !

 

I only had 2 tiny GPU-usage spikes but otherwise flat on the NVidia Inspector graph.
When I go into CoD Black Ops I don't hear the loud capacitor whine like I used to. I just came off of the 275.50 previous to this driver. In a Black Ops game the lighting looks different somehow. I'll have to fiddle around with the color settings. Game performance seemed good in my initial test. Temperatures seemed lower with these new drivers but part of that could be because of time of day here. I get the impression these new drivers are not stressing the hardware as much as the 275.50 but haven't gotten to the benchmarks yet to see how they compare there.

I did a Custom Install, Clean Install, with all components checked but after they all install and I reboot I go back into Windows Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and individually uninstall the NVidia components I don't really want.

EDIT: I think my GPU-usage is a bit less in CoD Black Ops. Will investigate more.

Just tried BF3 Alpha with these. Still no SLI support. Thought the drivers where delayed by one day because they wanted to implement SLI support for the game?

 

They took them of the nVidia site, cuz when you want to DL them it says:

 

What I thought, not happy.

nVidia telling porkies on their own forums now, not good.

Unless a profile update comes through that nvidia update thing, I don't hold much hope.

Getting 2 3 secs black screen while on desktop, as u see in afterburner. Like my gpu is offline for 2 3 secs and back again, did this 2 times yet.... back to 275.33 for now.


edit: Guys trust me , somethings wrong with this driver! While downloading 275.33 for install again, it did 2 times more of this. not sure what is going on...
i am on desktop and talking to a friend at steam , and firefox 5 is open, no flash on firefox. thats it and it happens now.

Witcher 2 mouse movements feel more laggy then before...
Also i run AVP3 DX11 Benchmark and i get EXACTLY the same score
Combine that with the fact the fan and temp are very weird and unsteady makes this driver not so good for me...

 

how is performance regression fix in BFBC2 with new BETA driver? Can anyone confirm or comment about it? I'm writing from a work

 

Great news I will be trying out the race 07 games to see if that terrible stutter is gone, also batman aa, f1 2010, dirt 3, metro 2033. That is all I can think of at the moment to test. Will do it in the morning and install on my sli 470's rig and my sig rig.

 

Can anyone test Shift 2 with these drivers, and confirm better working SLI yes/no?

...and they worked more that 1 month for this driver. Is the worst changelog i ever seen, and it's a new set the 280. ))) OMG NVIDIA !! is going down
