Hey guys, I have the following system :pc1::

    GA-P67A-UD3-B3
    Intel Core i5 2500k
    Zotac Nvidia GTX 570
    4GB GSkill DDR3 Ripjaws-X 1600MHz CAS8

I scored P5610 on 3DMark 11. The exact results were these:

    Graphics Score 5421
    Physics Score 6656
    Combined Score 5763
    GraphicsTest1 23 FPS
    GraphicsTest2 24 FPS
    GraphicsTest3 34 FPS
    GraphicsTest4 17 FPS
    PhysicsTest 21 FPS
    CombinedTest 26 FPS

From other results I've seen, the Physics score (cpu) is LOW. I should be getting around 8000. The thing is that I get lower fps on other games also, and low GPU usage sometimes, like there was a bottleneck.
Do you have any idea of what can be wrong? Thanks

Did you overclock your CPU? 3DMark doesn't report if other have overclocked, so that can often put you at the "bottom" of the list.

The results with the CPU on stock and overclocked to 4.2GHz vary from 100 points only. I checked a result on stock and it should be scoring p8000

    I got a score of p6140
    cpu 4.9ghz
    gpu 1 580@ 900/1800/4400
no 570 is going to get p8000
try a higher cpu speed and oc that 570

nono, I meant 8000 points on the cpu, the physics test, not overall

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong... anyway my results are with everything on stock frecuencies

Any updates on that matter? I got a similar problem, I'm "only" getting ~20FPS in the physics test at stock speed and I see people getting ~30FPS. I tried to disable every power saving feature I could find in the BIOS, but it didn't change a thing; even after disabling EIST C1/C3/C6 my CPU was still going down to 1.6GHz when idle if that can be a clue to anything.

I am feeling like my 2500 is not performing as well. My systems feels slower than when i was running my E8400 Wolfdale. Now I have not OCed my 2500 up to 4.2 yet. ..anyone else feeling like there 2500 is under performing?

I will run my 3dmarks11 tonight

Hi guys , I thought id add my poor score to this thread to see if anyone can comment.

I built this rig a couple of months ago now and was disappointed with my 3DMark score. My setup has not yet been oc in anyway but my physics isnt even reaching its target score. If anyone can help, then please do ;)

    http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1578752

    Intel i5 2500k
4gb Cosair XMS3 @1600MHz (as its not oc its @1300MHz)
    Gainward GMBH Geforce GTX460
    Memory 1024 MB
    Core clock 800MHz
    Memory clock 2000 MHz

    Thanks, :))

No it should not be 8K stock. I get that at 4GHz.

Your score is right where it should be. I scored 4025 points but with an extra 400MHz CPU OC same GTX460 at same speeds.

Thanks for the reply.Ok then i suppose thats the way it should be.Is it right for the physics test to be below the target score for this rig? when i oc'ed it using the X.M.P settings my core clock went to 3.7MHz and my ram up to 1600MHz i scored P3920 but my physics score was still only 6413 which was still below the the target score. All other scores are above their target scores.
Is it the graphics card holding the physics test back? maybe i should be oc my GPU too.

    Thanks,

My rig powers over my old one but my old rig still boots into windows faster than my new one and i cant work out why.
    Old rig 9800GTX
    3Gb value ram @667MHz
    pentium D945 dual core

What board do you have, it's not in your specs? Boot time might be software related, if for example you connected your boot device to the marvel sata 3 then it might get slower, more drivers to install than your previous system or so. The XMP setting is only for memory it has nothing to do with overclocking the CPU. The 3.7 GHz is the max turbo when using one core for your chip. As for 3Dmark11 physics score you get over 8000 only when the chip is overclocked like here:

I think yours is OK at 5700

    Compare to my score:

    P4025

AT3D: Booting into windows has nothing to do with CPU speed or how much ram installed you have. It is all hard drive and OS installed.
