    best so far. 5970 + 5870 CF

Yes, never seen so much fps increase in a driver. BC2 now runs @200fps steady in many areas, and it's never drops beyond 165 :D

Also slightly increased the score and fps in Heaven 2.5

since they didnt even include any info on release, I think this bfbc2 fix might be a side effect and we just got lucky really.

Sorry I'm calling BS on that statement, I have exactly the same cards and CPU.

Never drops below 165 fps? Complete rubbish, I have the same cards overclocked to 900 on all three cores and the memory @ 1200 running at 1080p.......so you are either lying or you are running a rez. Of 800 x 600 and no AA and AF.

I've stopped overclocking my 5970 in this game. For the most part I get 0 increase in FPS unless looking at the sky or some daft area. MY 4.2 Ghz Quad is holding back my 5970. I've done alt tabs mid game, overclocked and compared fps and no increase at all.

GPU running at 70-80% on both cores and CPU running at about 95%

They need to fix the 6000 crossfire issue and then they will be good.

Yeah never had stutter issues with any games on my 4870 or 3850 but with the 460gtx and amd 6950 I have the odd stutter here and there not as bad as the 460 tho seems to me its this new technology just isnt as stable as past cards

This driver is just not "slightly" better ... it's a whole lot better ... I mean, just take a look at my CPU ... sucks butt. I could play anything but BC2 without a bottleneck. BC2 ran horribly under DX9 ... I now play the game at high settings, 8XAA and 16XAF under DX10 and it's butter smooth ...

I'm guessing the driver shifts some of the processing from the CPU to the GPU ... that's just a guess though ... Kinda like what NVIDIA were trying to do with their drivers when the released a buggy as hell GTX 460 ...

well i finally jumped in and went from 11.5 to 11.6 i used the amd updater and had no issues whatsoever
the load-in stutter i had is almost gone and the game looks much much smoother, i have yet to get any real data on the net fps gain/loss but i will try and work on it.:biggun:

Real kudos to AMD for the performance of 11.6 and CAP1 in BC2.

I used to limp along at 1024*768 all setting medium or low, but I can now play 25-35fps, 1920*1080 with everything cept AA maxed.

And that with CF scaling still only doing 55-70. Incredible difference in performance with these drivers in this game.

Good job guys and gals :)

Edit: Metro 2033 is also playing better

I truly have seen zero fps increase in bfbc2, crisis, and other games since 11.1 Dont know if its my setup but its always been super smooth... And 11.6 i saw no diffrence what so ever..

They have always been stable and have performed good...

lol, so your one of those guys eh.. So easy to kill while your running around, i just jump out the tank and stab ya in the head.. btw c4 is for pussies that dont know how to aim.. Im no "sniper" Have never even used that class yet.. Add me sometime i wana see how good you are.. Just find Taint3dBulge... ;)

Noooo my friend, C4s are not for pussies ... maybe you're used to COd or something ... You have to take out the C4, run towards an enemy tank which leaves you vulnerable to enemy fire, obviously plant the C4 and run away from the tank to a safe place with the detonator in hand which leaves you again vulnerable to enemy fire ...

I wonder if someone could possibly help me please...

I have had to resort to playing the game at DX10 because DX11 the game menu loads but as soon as I click JOIN the screen goes black for 10 seconds then quits to desktop EVERY TIME.

    I have re-installed the game...re-installed PB..re-installed latest ATI drivers....and latest CAP....where is my problem?

Have tried using all "Application controlled" settings in CCC as well..to no avail!!

    UPDATE!!!!!!!

Hows this for wierd..I disabled C3 and C6 reporting in my BIOS (Asus P8P 67 PRO Board) now everything works 100% with DX 11 enabled...smooth as silk and NO CTD!!
