Hi everyone, I have a problem with the latest version of ATI Tray Tools (Win7 64bit). I can perfectly OC and UC my "mainGPU", a 5870 which is listed in AMD Vision Control Cencer as screen 2 with ATITT, but I have no option to switch to my 2 other GPUs, 2* 6870 which are running in crossfire mode. In AMD VCC (CCC) lsited as screen 1, I can OC them, change the fan speeds and so on (also changes are not permanent, when I reboot mem underclocking is reset). But how can I select these GPUs in ATITT? They are not listed in the drop down menu in hardware, nor in the the system information. After restart I also get an error msg that ATITT could not load low level drivers and needs to get installed. Should I remove the AMD software, drivers and tray tool completely and reinstall only driver and tray tool or is there another way to solve this? Thanks!
Yeah. It's hard to find software for functional multi-gpu tweaking/overclocking. I myself got 2x 6950 + 1x 5830 & 3x 5830 and having same problems with ATT. I have tried afterburner but it's buggy as hell with multi-gpu configurations.
I am not sure that this will help you. I have 4x6970 and my problem is, that with ATT I can only over/under clock first two cards when I tick the "applly to both GPUs" What I need to achieve is to overclock the GPU as much as possible (~1000 MHz) and underclock the memory as much as possible (~300 MHZ) on all cards. I haven't been able to find any other software that could downclock the memory to 300 MHz while overclocking GPU, so in this ATT is just perfect. In afterburner or ATI Overdrive for example I can overclock all of the cards very nicely, but the memory clock is somewhat linked to the GPU clock (if the GPU clock is under 850 MHz it lets the mem clock to 725 MHz, if the GPU is more than 850 MHz the lowest mem clock I can set is 1375 MHz). So my question is: Is there any way to apply this overclocking profile in ATT to ALL of my cards, not just 2 of them? Or is there any other software that can downclock the memory on my cards in the same way that ATT does? Thanks for any help.
