    8.86 drivers + 11.5 CAP 4 * Fixed My Light Source & NPC Issues*

    Currently running 5770's CrossFire

After installing the new 11.5 CAP 4 and rebooted my system, all the Light
    source issues have gone away!

Yes...confirmed both cards are running and scaling very well good FPS (1920x1080 Ultra Setting minus Ubar)

No more Disco Light Show for me :)

    ~UPDATE~

I was having the NPC issues until I installed the leaked 8.86 drivers (credit: asder00). and then installed cap 4. Frame rate for me is the same as before with no strange lights and I can talk again to all NPC's!!

    aahhhh finally...

For me, that light randomly appears. It could be 2 min into the game, or 2 hours into the game. The best way to tell is to drink, "Cat's Potion", that will surely give you an idea as to whether CAP4 fixed that annoying 'glare-ball'!

Best location to test the light bleed is in the dungeon level.
And looking at your crossfire scaling bar, it doesn't appear very good, 60% usage maybe.

I managed to fix the light issue on CAP 3 (I'm about to try CAP 4 now) by using RadeonPro with a custom CFX profile (dirt3.exe) and running AFR mode. I have two 6950s if that matters.

No problems for me in Dungeon level and getting 55 - 70 fps there as well.

Funny that you are inferring we know which game you're talking about. In any case, I do, and I'm gonna check this out today.

Edit: Well, I tried it and suddenly lost the ability to interact with the NPCs. total gamebreaking bug. I reinstalled CAP3 and problem was solved.

I'm not positive that there was a direct connection but I don't feel like uninstalling/reinstalling/rebooting again. Let's just say that there is strong circumstantial evidence that the CAP4 caused it...

I'm still having trouble. The lights are gone, but my frame rate drops down to 5-10 FPS anywhere I would have seen the lights. I'm 100% positive this is the case, not just me imagining (I should be getting 60+ FPS, and I, in fact, DO get 60+ FPS when not looking at walls that used to shine lights through)

Fixed my light but broke my interactions with npcs, i cant speak with nobody.

Removing cap4 or using radeon pro with compatibilty with another driver fix the problem.

If you had use RadeonPro + AFR till witcher2 is out and specially the patch 1.1, you will have get 1) CFX working perfectly 2) no disco light

Someone (Evileh) over on rage3d figured it out, turn on ubersampling, that'll let you interact again.

Using ubersample my framerate drop from 75-100 to 20, ubesampling isnt a solution at least for me :)
