24 here...i will continiue untill my figgers cant click the mouse and my hard cant rise to tap the keys..lol
Phew. And i was thinking gaming at 39 would be totally out of the norm. Guess i'm pretty ok so far. Now where are the 30+ gamer girls?
30+ gamer girls don't exist they need to make sammiches, bring us beer, do laundry and take care of the kids! xD
You know, actually it could be almost true. When i started gaming about 25 years ago only boys turned into gamers. Now that gaming has gone mainstream all gaming girls are far too young for 'almost 40ers'. Sad days. I'd need a timemachine.
They do exist! They play The Sims 3, Farmville, Cityville and Bejeweled all the time. Or they started playing Super Mario Bros. 1 on the NES. Probably most of them own a Wii as well. And most of them are hooked on Facebook.
43 here ! still love games... one thing I've found is that as i've older iv'e got more selective about what i play , a game has to be really good to hold my attention... recently the only game i've really enjoyed is portal 2... crysis 2... meh!
My older sister's PC which i assembled for her long ago: i5 760 2.8Ghz stock, MSi H55 Express chipset, 4GB Dual channel DDR3 1333Mhz ram, Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5, 2 x 1TB SATA HDD, OCZ Mod X Stream Pro 700W Modular PSU, Thermaltake V4 chassis, Samsung PX2370 1080p LED So far, she plays StarCraft II with it, Batman AA, Company of Heroes OpFor, Witcher 2 (just started), and some smaller games such as defense grid, and some games i dunno...
Im only 24 and my girlfriend keeps telling me there are better things to be doing with my time/money. Sadly work keeps me away from MMORPG's nowadays, i only have time for SP even occasionally. Put about 10 hours in to Witcher 2 so far - brilliant game!
my dad is 53 and plays video games. mostly command and conquer games, he tried to play wii games too but he was sore after that.lol im turning 30 next march and still play video games. and there should be an blog about the youngest video gamers.
Well, 42 here and still loving playing games. As i got older i wanted more from the games i played. WoW had me for a few years so did EVE and of late it's been RIFT but still love my FPS the most, roll on BF3 (MW3 can take a jump of a cliff). Just wish some games company, some place, would sort out cheating, can it realy be that hard?
To be expected, gaming is more socaiably acceptable now for adults, and glad to see im still 6 years younger than the average When i had my first console like the Mega Drive/SNES, or my Spectrum, it was something that kids mostly did, hidden away in bedrooms, nowadays its made its way into the living room, and one of the things grown men talk about in pubs etc...girls too i imagine, but i don't know many girl gamers, apart from my GF, but she only plays The Sims, or CSI game, more hardcore than me though, i raked up 10hours in Witcher 1 in a week, she done 14 hours on Sims3 Ambitions in a weekend!!
