It's ok, it will never say 6770 or 6990, it just goes by series. if u have 6770 card it will say 6700 series, smae goes for 5850/5870 it will say 5800 series.

    Nothing wrong here

You can call your card whatever you want, even like that. That's just the name, saved in inf file.

Can anyone confirm that the Odd light in Witcher 2 is gone with this on CFX?

Sadly the Distributed COM error on shutdown that first appeared with 11.4 is still present.

And why does my mouse pointer grow so large when I run Firefox ? (not porn related).

On a positive note the Shift2 dark cockpit bug has gone, even with surface format optimization enabled.

Nothing wrong at all and it's not bad for performance. It's the hardware ID that matters not what the description is. You could put Nvidia Suck It, and it wouldn't have any impact on performance.

Learn to read CatalystCreator's twitter feed. Questions like these need to stop. The dude updates his twitter feed on game updates all the time. They are still working with CD Projekt to resolve the issue.

It's 2011, using google should be the most basic of basic skills by now.

Surely communities like ours are meant to inform and help other people, not berate them for failing to follow up every information source.

    @asder00 YOU DA MAN :banana:

    Results:
dx9 Shift 2 +2 to 4 fps and no more dark cockpit (btw the fix for the dark cockpit was unchecking the check box for "enable surface format optimization".
    dx10 ANNO 1404 +2 fps
dx11 DiRT2 Average fps appears to be the same but it has higher fps peeks.
OpenGL According to FurMark same min fps, same average fps, +1 max fps

    Other results:
    No BSODs as of yet
No game crashes or weird effects
In CCC's 3D options menu the option "enable surface format optimization" and its check box are gone  Anyone else have this or know why?

That sucks... Have you reported the bug?
Does that actually work on desktop cards?
I created a thread asking people to look up the way to unlock 10-bit pixel format support for Radeons (got to be a simple registry entry), but no luck...

    Conclusion ?

Better or worse than the latest 11.5 leak ?
