WHQL Quadro 275.36 driver is released

how the drivers size can affect the performance? :nerd:

quadro drivers dont include physx, that's why its size are lower than geforce ones

 

Ok, just for the sake of it, iI've tested this driver and just like I thought there's zero improvement compared to 275.27 and 275.33, it even have the same bugs.
Tested in Metro2033, Witcher 2, Dragon Age 2 and Crysis.

 

well do you use 3dvision??


otherwise it shouldn't affect it, even 270.61 were ok as long as you delete 3dvision driver..

 

It would still be good to know if the bug is fixed for those of us who might want to use 3D.

If this driver is the same as the other 275.xxx what do you think?

 

My assumption would be the fixes in the previous version are present in this one as well.

Still doesn't beat someone confirming it.

NVidia is always trying to improve the drivers with each new build and some of those improvements are with games, usually the most recent games since the squeekiest wheel gets the grease.

I didn't see any performance improvement on Heaven Benchmark 2.5 or Black Ops but I see some subtle visual improvements.

I've seen some other people in this thread say they found some improvements in recent games which I don't have and I'm not surprised by that cuz this 275.36 driver is dated 6 days after the date of the 275.33 driver. The release notes of the drivers do not always say specifically what games they improve. Such was the case for the 267.59 driver which was released as a WHQL driver for only the GTX 550 Ti card. It was the first driver that dramatically improved Dragon Age 2 for a lot of people but there was no mention of that in release notes.

Over on the NVidia forums I was trying to ask an NVidia tech about any game fixes that might have made it into the 275.36 driver and one of the folks I've been corresponding with there on the NVidia forums answered saying:

"i can confirm there are some fixes for certain broken lighting in a couple of games resolved in 275_27-17."

(Actually he said 275_27-19 but then later on corrected himself and said he meant to say 275_27-17 which is the 275.36 driver.)

so no need to uninstall or stop/start the 3D Vision service

 

maybe now i can have the twin GTX275 on my GTX295 back LOL...

But windows desktop is so much better and clearer....Its like every time u update the desktop drivers the desktop image gets blurrier.

 

Can anyone confirm that the nvidia control panel works with these quadro's and the modded INF at post 6 ? when i right click desktop i have no option for the control panel and in control panel there is no option either

Just need to know if i should do a fresh install again with driver sweeper or if thats just how the quadro's are for this set

 

Ya I have the CPL and I used that INF.

the video playback is terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrific with these Quadro drivers!!!

on a 32" SONIQ 720p looks perfect with a Bluray rip of Inception in powerDVD

 

is there an hacked INF for AMD's cards? someone point me over there please

 

What was the problem with 275.33?

 

there are far more serious bugs then this little 3dvision incompatibility..
