i have the EVGA GTX 460 SC EE 1gb now its SLI but both are stable at this Core Voltage: 1062 mV GPU: 850 MHZ Shader Clock: 1700 MHZ Memory Clock:2200 MHZ (Double Data Rate 4400QDR) Fan Speed: 100%
There have been some cases where such high clocks passed tests fine but the cards died eventually. In my opinion, anything above 850MHz is too risky for the long run.
you should worry about that only if you'd have a 570 or 590...with a 460 you will be fine. I have a 570 and keep it at 885 mhz with 1.063 and i dont worry about it
nice memory clock. Mine starts to artifact if I push the memory above 2000... I run at 850/2000 at 1.025v
I would say its totally safe I ran my old MSI gtx 460 cyclone at 1.150 v at 900mhz for many months and it never exceeded 70 something celsius and worked perfectly fine and as far as I know the person I sold it to is still using the card to this day.
