    Glad to hear that. As i said the profile is not working proprely, but it can be the game as well.
    As for the gpu usage, you dont always need full usage, it really depends on the engine or filters.
    Like fallout new vegas, althought not vsyched i get 60fps (game locked afaik) even on monstrous situations but with 30% of gpu usage.

    I'm really sorry, but I don't play Witcher 2 or Dirt 3, and probably never will...

    But what about good ol' Crysis 2? Does it suffer from the "white gun" problem like it does with 275.27?

    Since I'm not at home at the moment, I cannot try it on my own rig right now.

    Yeah I know about the gpu usage thing you mentioned, specially with vsync enabled. I just meant that AO high uses 50% gpu, and AO Ultra uses 80+% gpu. So it seems alot difference between those two settings, so as you said, its either the game or the drivers that has a bug with AO. Same as with BRINK, before the latest patch, enabling AO was unplayable, but after latest patch its playable but still but uses lots more gpu than it should.

    Could you explain better, never had that issue with Crysis 2, with any driver. So I can test it for you, but I need to know what im supposed to be looking for? ;)

    ok can you please play with vsync disabled? also you Haze303 please?

    im suspecting the game and how it handles loading levels.. huge fps in loading menu and then it somehow goes out of sync right before it loads the level and CTD..

    I ran it today, quick run and bum crash then i enabled vsync and i haven't experienced it yet.

    No problem! With driver version 275.27, there's at least 2 graphics issues w/ Crysis 2. The most obvious one is your weapon turning white, the other is a failure in drawing distance, easily visible in vast outside areas. I've heard of many other people having these limitations w/ that driver version, I'm just not quite sure if it only affects GTX460 users or others as well.

    The driver installer is showing me that the new driver version for the graphics driver is 270.61 which is already installed.

    Start "'Seat of Power" chapter and you'll notice right away that the weapon is all screwed up :)

    ok, but i think i know the cause its either something with msi afterburner or nv inspector..Well it happened with vsync too eventually. Im talking about Dirt2.

    But looks like there could be the conflict between these two, once i disabled Msi afterburner unlock voltage monitoring and voltage control it lasted for much much longer (im talking about good hr of gameplay).. but then i checked what's up with nv inspector OC utility and i saw that fan control wasn't checked and set to auto, it was unchecked by auto..and yet it still raised and lowered its speed..

    idk weird stuff.. looks like fresh win install is the only fix.

    Hiya,
    Here i am reporting back.
    Ive played for an hour without vsync, so far no problems.
    Hope it helps.

    Btw i just forgot to mention that i used vsync lately in the game: in my first posts where i mention benchmark runs and the first tier of races ive noticed i was playing without vsync.
    Just took a look at my fraps benchmark of my gaming session of yesterday, clearly i was not using vsync, as i have a few sections with fluctuating fps from 65 to 78.

    Okay, I've tried this driver w/ Crysis 2, and the issues are gone. So I hope to see the same in the final version of the 275 driver. We'll see...

    ahhhhhhhhhh! lol

    i assumed you were at 1080p like me.

    Anyway just benched at 8xqaa:

    <results samples="7698" min_fps="61.681843" av_fps="72.033859" min_fps_ms="16.212227" av_fps_ms="13.882360" />

    good good :)

    If i drop to 8xmsaa, the average as i said raises to 77.

    just heads up, 275.27 are much faster for Dirt3!:)

    270.80

    <results samples="7638" min_fps="64.487427" av_fps="73.613914" min_fps_ms="15.506899" av_fps_ms="13.584389" />

    275.27

    <results samples="8907" min_fps="68.322273" av_fps="85.732201" min_fps_ms="14.636516" av_fps_ms="11.664228" />

    by both 8xmsaa.

    Also as funny as it sounds i OC'ed 30mhz more to 800mhz and raised voltage from default 0,962 to 1.006v and its stable now by those loading maps, i played it with vsync - off to be 100% sure its stable and i changed like 15-20 maps and ran 4 benchmarks in between and it didn't crash once.. i was playing for 1 hr or a bit more for sure..

    also this gpu has "2 bioses", 1# performance Fan mode (bios) is more aggressive; for example on stock volts and stock OC as soon as i launched benchmark it crashed to desktop, and when i was in 2# silent Fan mode it was fine no crashes, but i didnt know that yet..looks like this perf. fan mode is a bit funky lol

    edit: meh today it CTD at perf. profile and 800mhz.. damn, im now at silent mode and 840mhz @ 1.037v :p

    These drivers work great for me.

    Crysis 2 works just fine, never seen any "white gun" issues. SO not even with these.

    Brink, Witcher 2, crysis2, etc work all fine. I like these more than the 275 drivers.

    Will test the new developer driver 270.81 in a while, hopefully they are as good as these.
