I have Black Shark and finish the campaign two times already in full sim mode. Also some user missions but lets hope they update it to the new A10C engine.

A10c engine has better graphics (HDR) better textures better models better AI. This put me off BS as the AI is lacking. Especially your wingman. But don't get me wrong I really like BS. I use to play it for a year non stop.

DCS A10 is coming to Steam. Also patch details.

    Code:
For 1.1.0.8. Mission briefing option now available while in mission
    after pressing ESC key.

For 1.1.0.8. Mission debriefing available while in flight.

A-10C release candidate version for Steam in testing this weekend.
So far what we know for 1.1.0.8 other than bug fixes is Surround sound, New E-2D Hawkeye model and the above.

1.10.8 is going to rock. I think I'm going to do the re-install when it's out be to sure to avoid the long load time and explosion stutter. The new E-2D Hawkeye model sure is a welcome addition, the current one really looks out of place :3eyes:

Yes the DCS wiki is very helpful.

Yes do that, that fixed my long loading stutter and the game is performing very good after the full reinstall.

Vandrende Pind I never played online pm me so we can try it together. I finally reach a point of knowing everything in the pit, I am a bit slow but I can work with every system.

If you like flight sims, then yes. It's very in depth and has a steep learning curve.

Looks like Eagle Dynamics has just registered the "F-18C.com" domain. Have a look......
    http://whois.domaintools.com/f-18c.com

Now although the site has been taken down (for now) there are those who were able to "see" it and although there wasn't anything there (just a blank page) they said that the favicon in the address bar is the same one used in their main website. In addition to this, when you look for the domain registration (which I copied above) you will pretty much have the final confirmation.

Great stuff i love this Jet so ill be buying this, the F18 hasnt been updated in years:)

$60.00 USD for a beta. I fail to understand that justification. What if it is notta-so-gooda?

It has been officially released, not a beta. And the game is very good if you are a flight sim fan.

    Hummmmm!

Now the question is, if I purchase this game should I also purchase the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS ($ouch) and sell my Cougar HOTAS?

My little brain is definitely burned out on Falcon4.

This sim needs a demo or beta to try out.

Does this mean that Steam is required to play the game if it is purchased from here --> http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ ? :3eyes:

I don't like the Steam concept.

If you can yes but I currently playing with X52 pro with no problems. The Warthog HOTAS is as the real thing, is plug and play, no need to assign any keys.
