AMD = Always Mediocre Drivers :)

If i didnt get these cards for a steal price, ($300 for both) i wouldnt be caught dead using ATI or AMD, i dont care what anyone says, nvidia has some amazing drivers. I have used cards from both camps, ati has some good hardware, with crap software.

MLB 2k11 flickers with crossfire, its very minor, but it still flickers.

Kudos to mao5, but if I do not force the FEAR profile and AFR Rendering mode I still get insane flickering

Mao, you use AFR friendly in radeon Pro.

AC Brotherhood has lost about 40% of Crossfire performance since CAP3.

Crysis does no scaling at all in 720p but I can't reach 60 and I cannot put any AA. I played the game for about 1 hour and now I am waiting for AA, CFX and DX11 support. I guess I'll play BF3 first.

There's a crossfire profile you can force which is AFR Friendly.

AFR stands for alternate frame rendering. It is the best way to make 2 gpus work together.

Back to C2, Forcing AFR-Friendly in RP doesn't work for me, getting flickering.

Anyone has managed to get AA in C2. SSAA 4X gives me invisible texture.

Think it works though. Focking DX9

Have you tried reinstalling your game? And no autoexec.cfg?

The trick is quit the game to the main menu, then choose continue the game, it will remove most flickering problem.

so... darkspore & ACB are missing, there's no red faction i dont think either

there is indeed a reference of april1 instead of april4

oh well, this has happened before where global agenda & something else went missing for a couple CAPs

The CatalystCreator said you have to reboot after installing the CAP3 profile, did you reboot? Then, is the Shift2 new profile still not disabled the crossfire?

It's the game developers that didn't have a clue.
Even the green team is having a hard time enabling SLI support for that game.

isnt it better to use the older cap then ? since it states it has improved performance ?
Doesnt make sense to me they release caps without doing any testing at all, then blaming developers when it doesnt work when the game is officially released.

Coming from AMD, you should take that with a grain of salt.
Maybe a block...no, a cargo container of salt.

Put it simply, if AMD is often true to their words on CAPs fixes, the posts before yours wouldn't be angry posts.

@Mao5 what drivers are you using?
My Computer inst exactly crappy and i get below 60 fps on the 1 mission(when you see prophet dieing and you pick up the pistol) with 11.3 and 11.4(march23) drivers both using 11.3 CAP3. Only workaroung is using another profile but then i get crappy fps on PIER 17. It seems the best drivers are 11.2 plus 11.2 CAP4 and using Bioshock profile.

11.3 CAP 3's with 11.4 latest preview drivers

Crysis 2 benchmark results (Had to rename the executable back to crysis2.exe or the benchmark couldnt find the game, if it was still named bioshock.exe I would have had an almost constant / more than, 60fps throughout, its a joke.

1 run - completely maxxed out with no vsync

    Min. FPS at around ~1?
Is that the loading screen or something?

Says frame 2, so I guess it must be just the little glitch you get as the game loads the textures etc
