    Hi there,

I want to upgrade my rig from 2Gb to 4GB of RAM memory and I've got few memories in town shops. These are the options I consider:

    1st Kingston HYPERX BLUE

    2nd PATRIOT 800 CL5

My computer is mostly for gaming and I want to keep my overclocking setup. I know these ones are not the best option if we see brands like Corsair or G-Skill but I'm fed up of investing too much money in my computer.

So, what would you choice? Thank you in advance :nerd:

I would invest in a new CPU first.

But if not, go with the Kingston.

Well, of course a new CPU would help but then we are talking about 150€ ~ 200 USD and that won't happen until some time.

Do you think is a waste of money investing in new memories if I'm not going to upgrade my cpu?

Yes. Especially since you're using a 32 bit OS.

Upgrading from 2GB to 4GB is def worth it with your current CPU, even if your OS is 32bit...
