These drivers are RALLY fast on my setup ...

Gained 20 FPS in crysis and about 15 FPS in Crysis 2 (Constant 120 FPS now)

Dragon Age 2 NOW that´s a whole different story ... LOL
I had about 80 -100 FPS with 267.76 WHQL with all eye candy on, 4xaa, 16xAf, but with this set 40 - 55 FPS ?

Only tested these three, but they are really good for Crysis 2 ... ;0)

    NOT good for DA2 ...

yea me neither, although they are a little faster here and there and also smoother at physx execution (loading techniques).. But as overall then need some tweaking for older g92 gpus, im getting some weird stuff with MT engine games; RE5(dx10) and LP2 (dx9)., JC2 wasn't so stable either.

Agree, hopefully they're gonna fix everything and add new stuff, that SRAA mode would be cool

If someone has already posted this pardon the double post.

For those trying to work out which inf to modify just open up the ListDevices text file and look for your apapter in mobile version. To use my card as an example I used NVCV.inf as that was where the 460M was listed. Then edit the inf as normal.

I think the setup file scans all inf's which is why it takes a second or two longer than normal and also why the driver wont install if any of the inf's are missing.

Seems I'm unable to activate SLI mode with OP's driver/inf. There is simply no option for it. Anyone know how to fix?

I have no experience with modding infs.

    Running 2x GTX 580 SLI.

Seems my theory is flawed I just found a 460M adapter under NVAM and NVTD. Nust have been a fluke installing mine :bang:

I have the same issue with my GTX460 SLI rig. I usually have this issue with CUDA drivers, so I have to stay away from them. And they are usually the best performing drivers according to everyone else. :bang:

Also, when I use these my card stays at 3d clocks. Anyone else have this happen?

Just installed these drivers to see what they are like and the first thing I noticed was an nVidia tray icon! Been a while since I saw this, but it's nothing like it used to be. Also the driver seems to have an auto update feature.

    Here are some driver comparisons.
    270.28 vs 270.32 vs 267.91

This test is with DirectX 9, no AA

    Heaven 2.5 Benchmark
    Windows 7 64-bit
    GTX 580
    16x Anistrophy used
    Ambient Occlusion Off
    NVidia High Quality Textures used

    Scores, MinFPS, AvgFPS, MaxFPS

    2792, 59.3, 110.8, 215.5 - 270.28 Dx9, no AA
    2798, 36.0, 111.1, 216.9 - 270.32 Dx9, no AA
    2800, 59.6, 111.1, 216.1 - 267.91 Dx9, no AA

Conclusion: In the past I've preferred the 270.32 driver for Black Ops because I liked the higher MinFPS it gives for that game. I don't use AA in Black Ops multiplayer. My tests with the 267.91 this morning were inconclusive because Steam and Black Ops were getting some kinda update in the background. I'm not sure if this 270.28 is making my card run hotter than usual during benchmarking or not. This might be the driver I'll wanna use for Black Ops. More testing required.

270 branch is still the best for GTX570/80, some tests will score more some less and most will score dif if you try 2 or 3 times...

i doubt that a driver can heat up your card

only time i have that happen is when i forgot to swith screen to LCD1, and i had expand screen instead, that made one of my cards never go idle on 3rd stage

I just switched from the 270.28 back to the 270.32. I've tried both in a multiplayer game now and it feels like the 270.28 is bogging down more than the 270.32 during those closeup intense moments. So at the moment I prefer 270.32 for Black Ops.

My testing was done with Win7 64-bit, 1920 x 1080, no AA, 16x Anistropic, NVidia High Quality Textures, Vsync off.

EDIT: Seems like 270.32 has a better desktop PC power profile.
