One thing that is weird about Isabella is how in DA, she is the whitest person in the entire game, and by DA2, she's almost black, not even tanned, and now has an accent.

 

just checked the actual screens and yea for some reason they came out that way although when i was playing they werent like that :bang:

Various Cry Engine 3 / Crysis 2 images from the retail edition (Second level, first actual game map minus the intro section and two last images from the map after to capture the indoor ambiance and lighting.) this time (Posted various MP and beta images earlier.), uses various tweaks (And noticeable many cheats.) to aid with screen capture, should have hidden the hud but the command for it can't be triggered in-game so it's somewhat limited in terms of usefulness as the HUD is pretty useful to not have permanently hidden plus it affects other HUD elements as well and even cutscenes depending on how much is disabled.

EDIT: System.cfg / Autoexec.cfg contents, nothing drastically different from what I previously posted that I used but some small tweaks here and there, unavailable commands removed for example.

(Be sure to disable/delete the cheat based commands for playing normally, easiest is to compare against the command dump and setting up something more personal and suitable, oh and as seen by comparing different sets of uploaded Crysis 2 images it doesn't drastically alter the visuals or anything.)

I told myself I would not pay full price for it......the pc gaming addict came out of me .....Wal-Mart has my money, and I have Crysis 2.

The game play is much fun.....great job with mouse input, as I have no lag, very smooth....not all textures are top notch, but runs smooth, still looks decent and the gameplay is fun.

Weapon sounds are great.

Hopefully it will become very moddable.

I dont know what ya guys sayin . But Crysis 2 sure does NOT look like average FPS.

IT looks nice and cinematic , bits way above average.

I'd like to see DX11

 

Above average yes, but only because average is ...mediocre.

It might be a harsh remark, but we are talking about the sequel of one of the most stunning games ever made.
Looking at those shots it´s almost painful.

 

I don't know what AA method they use but it does really good job in my opinion.

 

Well imo , vs orginal crysis , not moded to oblivion ( both the meanings ).

I'm not really sure.

I'd say original crysis was less faked , less light and post processing effect and more true effects like POM, Movable leafs , destroyable trees.

But city and ovarall graphics are very well made.- They have this cinematic feel and i like it.

 

Agreed.

I'm willing to bet that if Crysis 2 had a vast open area set in a jungle theme like the first Crysis, we would see our framerate counters tank even in DX9 mode. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed with the graphics of Crysis 2, either, since it was executed really well for an urban theme.
