Hopefully, he's not a troll. There's enough legitimate retards around here without being inundated with fake ones.

Lol, now we have someone blaming Nvidia for themselves getting their PC infected with trojans, and running some pos reg tweaker, which probably is the source of the trojans to begin with.

    To the OP,

Only use trusted applications when it comes to virus removal.

Nvidia would NOT and does NOT include trojans in their drivers. Period. :bang:

    1) There are what is known as "false-positives". They occur when things that are not trojans or malware are being as reported as malware by the security software. You can submit a trouble ticket to the company who made the security software so they can fix their software so that it does not report that thing as a trojan when it is not. They will investigate it before they fix their definitions.
    2) You do not have to remove the NVidia Driver Helper Service, just go into Windows Services menu (Start/Run/services.msc) and set it to Disable.

    2) Do not use a PC again!

I took the Nvvsvc.exe file apart and looked it over for 30+ minutes, I didn't find anything in there that would indicate a trojan..

it calls for a proxy DCAB0989-1301-4319-BE5F-ADE89F88581C in the registry

but that's about it, probably for logging..

i hope to get some info about drivers delay...

@whitehat: confirmed, it's a VIRUS, run away very very fast from your computer. (and never touch it again)

Is this for real? We were all noobs but there's a limit :)
To me, he doesn't seem to be the type of "mommy just bought me this PC" noob, he goes on about runtime errors, C++, backing up registers to CD and spare HDD, system images and what not.
I think it's paranoia from too much weed or slight mental retardation. To put it simply, a TOOL.

PS. I entered the forum looking for newer drivers and this thread caught my eye first.. I now want to hurt somebody.. thanks op!
