People need to take a chill pill. It's anime for crying out loud. Life is already stressful enough these day, and anime is one of few way you can escape reality and relax your mind.

 

Some anime can be enjoyable, but they could cut down on the over the top nudity and overendowed women in some.

 

Sankaku just posted a topic of current top 10 bluray sales and Japan has 80% anime in the listing! Now imagine with the ban, what will happen to the sales of anime...What would happen to the industry?

They are not proposing that anime be banned, they are proposing a ban on anime that depicts or insinuates C.P/pedophilia or sexualizing of children.

All it would do is lift the level of the narrative or graphics as they would need to find another selling point.

You are not defending anime, you are defending hentai. Anime is fine, hentai is for basement dwellers.

Personally Ive taken quite a liking to Anime as it shows better emotion & story than half of the million dollar movie makers and series out there.

nah, its not just hentai, its violent anime too, and you know how much anime has fighting and blood. Apparently many people think this anime is too voilent.

tbh who cares about violence in anime, tv series... what i find funny is that japan has a lot of perverted/sexual and violent LIVE ACTION series... and they go on about banning anime wtf, and the guy proposing the ban has written rape novels hoorah.

this hypocrisy is everywhere in the world... lets ban this and this, yet you find same stuff in different form on your telly every night or something.

When someone calls for the banning of something there's a reason for it. This guy wants to ban them so he, himself, profits directly from the ban. He's assuming more people will buy his own ****, thus the people supporting this ban have actually no clue what they're supporting. Protect children? LOL no, it's buy this guys rape books.

This is the case with all bans, the person who came up is hoping to profit from it.

Because some guy wants to make more money.
