    Whaaaa--?
I played BFBC2 on 4850 and dual core quite fine.
I play BFBC2 on 6850 dual core and triple core totally fine.
Unless "decent" for you is 120FPS min at 1080p, then I strongly disagree.

I hope AA will work in BF3, for a change :)

People confuse slightly better performance due to multi threaded optimisations with being 'CPU heavy'. They're not the same thing. The engine is GPU limited.

But I'm not getting into this again as I've been totally flamed for stating it before. Also the fact that the CPU seems to make more of a difference on nvidia based systems than ATI (virtually no difference when overclocking CPU) seems to point to the fact that the nvidia driver is causing a lot of the CPU load in BC2.

Even without BF3 crysis 2 was never going to be game of the year with Skyrim,Deus Ex and Diablo 3,these are only 3 titles, i know there are more.

    BF3 looking good.

BC2 engine is also cpu heavy. It uses all your pc resources in a good way. Its also very sensitive to cpu gpu overclock due to this but its rock stable if your system is configure properly.

Seems that many people trying to get into this were getting flamed or at least not taken seriously.

It's going to have a "unlock progression system" for multiplayer, I cried a little. :( but they say "The world has moved on, so has DICE. We are changing stuff for the better, but you never know what the fans will say."
But hey, the PC version will have 64 players and console version gets 24 woot.

I hope there will be a demo too.

So, no body dragging in multi.

That stuff about characters screaming what they are actually doing - BFBC2 does it too and it does it very well. Especially when you have localized VO enabled, you hear exactly where are friendlies and where are enemies and what they are doing.

...for $10.000? :nerd: Shame they didn't say exactly what it was running on.

Hmm I have bad memories with 64 players in BF2. Casual FFA players cannot make a good team this big, I actually prefer smaller maps and smaller player count in BFBC2...

The pretty much confirmed no commander mode, and also for the first time stated dragging team mates won't be included in the mp portion of the game :(

I think this will end up being a good looking, great sounding run of the mill multi player shooter.

The commo rose and commander mode are 2 of the major points that distinguished BF2/2142 from the competition.

Sure, the vehicles were always a big part until some people start to moan about them, so I hope they're implemented well at least.

I like the way DICE say the 'world' has moved on - when the tru BF players want a lot of what they've missed from BF2 and 2142.

Screams of EA's decision making TBH

Who knows they probably have something else in mind. A tweaked version of commander I don't know. For sure it will be not like BC2.

Well, they said something about Alienware PC's on Twitter.
But that brand is just overpriced as hell..I'd never buy anything from them, lol

Best looking game footage I've ever seen.

This is what Crysis 2 should have looked like. None of that yellow-green muddy nonsense lighting.

I think "but will it run BF3?" will become the new meme of this forum shortly

Yeah, I just bought my 6850 and I'm not sure it will provide me with the best experience.

There will be a ton of data because there is a whole lot of time left, so easy.
