What resolutions are people using to play games? I have a 20" led lcd 1600x900 and I play at the native resolution. My question is, is the majority playing near 1680x1050 or more towards 2560x1600?

    I'm at 1920*1080 as that's what both my monitors run at (32" + 23").

Would a 2yr old KDS 24" 1920x1200 be a wise upgrade as it's not led?

1680x1050 on a 22". Ideally it'd be 1920x1200 but it's hard to find a decent monitor at this res in Perth.

If you assume that people play games at their desktop resolution then 1680x1050 is just marginally beating out 1920x1080 for the top spot according to Steam's survey.

ive played games in the cinema, dont really know what size that is though.

the low quality resolution really put me off though, the screen was too big for the resolution it was running.

my 1080p is great for 102" cant see any pixels at all, you even struggle when ur right up to it. i think it all depends on the projector quality as my mates got a 1080p sony projector and thats wank, it lags and colours are bad even in dark room ect, i like mine i can run mine in day light but if its dark WOW mega good quality

ps every cinema ive been to in uk sofar is crap the quality is **** :( i get more enjoyment from sitting at home, its a real shame

well i dont think it was the projector tbh, i think the videocard coudnt keep up with it, as i understand cinematic projectors (from real cinema) have quite a high resolution.
