one of the main reason for me buying 580gtx was its 3d feature , but im not quite clear on couple of stuff , do i need sli to use 3d feature?? also is there 30 inch 3d pc monitors , cuz it would be stupid to go from my 32 tv to a 20 inch monitor.

No, not for the stereo option. You do need it for the surround one, but not the stereo.

For 3D Vision you don't need SLI. For 3D Vision Surround you need either a GTX 595 (coming soon) or SLI.

There are no 3D Vision capable 120 Hz monitors bigger than 24 inch yet. Wait for the 27 inch Asus PG276H (coming soon) or if you can't any longer then your best bet right now is going to have to be Asus VG236H. It has a wireless 3D Vision kit already included with it and it's the most remarkable one in its league.

if you are used to 32" just grab the smallest 3dtv i think its 40" but dont quote me on that. then you download nvidia 3dtv play. and set all your games to 1080p@24hz with VSYNC turned OFF. or if you want vsync on then you have to choose 720p@60hz

IIRC, the Nvidia 3D transmitter has a jack to plug in another cable for syncing to another display.

There are many 3D DLP displays available that you could use instead.

Bloody's 3DVision Blog is a great place to find monitor reviews.

Guys I have an lg 47h5000 that has 200mhz truemotion. Can I use 3d vision with it? I know you need 120hz for 60 fps per eye but I dont mind getting even 30 per eye (its still smooth)

Probably not but you can check NVIDIA's website for the full details. Just look under the 3D Vision product.

If you get dizzy by watching a monitor refreshing at 30 Hz, then it would be worse with the 3D.
