    what!? there is just under 20mm clearance for a fan, a scythe 12mmx120mm slim fan would work perfectly, Ive no idea what your on about mate

    can you see the space difference ? the shaman take 2 slots without the fan add a fan even slim you'll have a triple slot cooler .

    If I had a second card to crossfire I could fit it under my Shaman with ease. I may have to get a thinner fan for the shaman but it would work. I do not have enough room below what would be my second card for a shaman though as my PSU would be too close. If I had a HAF X it would probably work in crossfire with dual shamans on my MB.

    as it says for the sli/crossfire to work you'll need 4 slots even with 3 slots it's undoable

    The bluprint of the shaman with no fan in takes 40mm aprox ,means 2 slots space without a fan

    lets talk measures and facts ,rock your head against the wall if you want .you cant change the fact that the shaman is a 40mm heatsink witch take 2 slots .how are you planing to add a fan even slim and fit it in a crossfire configuration ,this is non sens .the shaman will turn it to a 3slots cooler with a slim fan the end .

    im not carrying on with this, I know the truth and have proved it fits, there is enough clearance for cfx in my rig end of, your trolling your own thread btw, the heat pipe would be nowhere even near to the second card, troll harder

    actually pointing out poor results in a review is just fine, no trolling of any sort, your crazy to think that.

    someone else could have come along with an accelero or something and said the same, would they be trolling too?

    Dave, the problem is that you're arguing there is space for a fan in crossfire on a motherboard where PCI-X slots are three slots apart. In your motherboard, that is the case. In the OP's motherboard, the PCI-X slots are two slots apart, i.e. adjacent which I was trying to point out earlier. (I called that adjacent because the standard width of a card is two slots.) That is why he can't fit a fan on the shaman in crossfire, and given the fact that the heatsink itself is quite sizeable, it's possible the heatpipes would come in contact with the lower card when the cards are in adjacent slots. However if the cards are three slots apart as in your case, there shouldn't be a problem fitting a slim fan on the top card.

    @ehtv that's what i'm talking about !
    you can't physically fit two cards equipped with the shaman with only 1 empty slot in between just impossible .

    Thanks for the backup
