got killzone 3 early

I got my killzone 3 early today. Can i install it without being banned ? It IS a store copy .

I cant wait any longer !!!!

Well I would be cautious considering there are pirate copies floating around...

I sometimes get my games early and i never had a problem with getting banned ect, also when i got my killzone 2 copy 3 days early there where many people playing online.

Well , i just installed it and no issues. There is no installing to the hard drive .The game picks up right where the demo ends. If you didn't play the demo i'm not sure if you will have to play that mission . The story then jumps back to the ending of killzone 2.

Graphics are incredible. The controls seem a little slow turning but I haven't messed with the settings. I want to get the rifle but nobody has them out til' tomorrow. I only played up to the first save point so far.

I was looking to upgrade my cpu to get ready for crysis 2 but as long as games look this good on consoles , i think i'm done upgrading til' something breaks. I think i'll spend the money on a 360 finally.

 

just stick to pc and ps3. nothing on 360 looks as good as killzone 3. i have all the current platforms btw

 

Actually AFAIK Sony actually can and does know when you play a game on your ps3 offline IF you log in to psn eventually without formatting your drive and reinstalling the firmware. The ps3 collects information about what games, apps, messages, music, and movies you play, listen to, watch and launch.

Actually my bad you don't have to log into psn. You actually only need to have a working internet connection ie: wifi or ethernet. Psn login not needed for Sony to get the list.

@Scatman: Yeah I doubt they'd do anything but I was just responding to the "sony cant tell if you install a game on your own personal ps3" post is all.

 

they wouldnt do anything anyway, it's inevitable that some people will get a copy early, beside, how else would reviewers be able to play it

 

It already ran a update to 1.02 so if there was going to be a problem it probably would have happened then. Plus it's already awarding trophies.

I also changed the x & y axis sensitivity to 60% at its much easier to control.

 

It will be fine.. heck i got Kinect 2 weeks early and had no issues....
