i would like an API to be able to read the current gpu values( temp, clocks etc. ) so that i can use my smartphone as my G15 currently does. Also would be nice to switch auto fan control on/off remotely

API or HTML output would be good

Look in the SDK folder in the MSI Afterburner install directory. There already is an API for monitoring. And if you have a Windows phone, you could use this: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=292598&page=3#72. I'm not aware of anything available for the iPhone or Android, so you'd have to develop it.

I would like the old documentation back. The new readme has no voltage controller info and is rather jumbled.

    In "General" tab
    In "General Properties"

    ad

    "Minimize on close"

Having such an important program close on a misclick is frustrating.

Also I would welcome option to merge two icons I have in tray(Afterburner and temperature) in to single one-temperature.

    Thanks for listening

DeerDance: The functionality already exists. Open the install folder and edit MSIAfterburner.cfg. Change "SendToTrayOnClose" from 0 to 1, and restart MSI Afterburner. This feature was added in Version 2.0.0 as specified in the Readme.

I'd really like to see CPU utilization too, next to GPU's, so I can keep open only Afterburner!

Just the statistics, not advanced options to handle OC for example...

    Hi guru.
    The problem with softvoltmodom card XFX HD5770 (hd-577x-ZNFM VE2) 1024mb DDR5: insane:

    in MSI afterburner
slider changes the voltage is not active. The driver is installed Catalyst 11.1

How to overcome this problem and raise the voltage program, agonize over this problem.

The program has made MSI afterburner settings:
    1) unblock the control voltage
    2) to unlock the voltage monitoring
    3) Edited cfg file (EnableUnofficialOverclocking = 1)

Version of the card and bios:

It would be great if you added cpu usage and cpu temp monitoring, that's the only thing missing imho and would be greatly appreciated if implemented.

Yeah I have a request. Basically, voltage control in rivatuner, just like in afterburner. If I had that then i would have no reason to leave Riva which I love so much.

So if Riva supported MSI's 3 voltage controls, then I'm golden.

Please finally understand that this wont happen anything that threatens MSI Afterburners uniqueness wont be implemented as this information is gained under NDA and with the money from MSI and they want it for Afterburner exclusive.
Also CPU and other Sensors that don't belong to the GPU wont be implemented those stay for Rivatuner and VRM Sensoring is also not going to happen as to much stress can do damage and MSI doesn't want to RMA because of this :)
Most probably we also not gonna see any new Version of Rivatuner anymore, but other Vendors application seem to have OSD for their Hardware Sensoring Applications on the list also.
And still Rivatuner can be enhanced via its plugins interface with Sensors and readout also other Vendors Sensor information. The only problem is that Rivatuners interface is stuck where it is and with a lot of Sensors available now it becomes quiet overloaded and depending on screen resolution it can get problematic keeping Sensor information focused (scrolling is needed on lower resolutions with a lot of Sensors active). For games though no Problem only inside Windows itself (non OSD use, the horizontal limitation is suboptimal, especially not being able to change the size of each Sensor Graph). In that case if you need to check many Sensor information Live @ once i prefer the AIDA64 OSD Panel or HWINFO32 Sensor Window :)

    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=3895215#post3895215

from what i got afterburner can keep the core oced even when its not on
but when after burner is off the fan profile gose to stock . thats is quite
dangerous in my opinion . is it not possible to make it work ?

Sound recording during video recording (unless it's there but I didn't find it!)

    Native 64-bit support

Add mouse support for screen and video capture

Zaim: It has been asked many times before. Every time it was answered, the answer was "No."
