GREAT drivers for my rig SO FAR ...

Tested Crysis Warhead Enthusiast 4 x aa 16 x af Vsync .... 1920 x 1080 45 - 55 FPS ...

So i gained 8 FPS in Warhead NICE ;0)

Metro 2033 gained 4 fps ...

So for now they are good ;0)

 

any release notes?

anyway these contain Dirt2 fix just like 266.58 :thumbup: (266.87Q don't)


edit: but they have the same occasional micro stutter in L4d2 just like 266.58, 263.15 arent affected - super smooth, well at least for my old gpu..

 

These are one week newer than the GeForce 560 Ti-only v266.66 WHQL drivers (dated 20th rather than 13th January 2011). So far these seem the same as those aforementioned drivers which I'd installed with a modified INF. Not that I had any problems with those anyway but I'd like to know what changes/improvements have been made to these new v266.77 drivers.

 

Guess which one is 2xMSAA and which one is 16xQ:

Right one is 16xQ AA . Yes I know the difference should be more significant.

 

Right one is 2xMSAA.

Every AA mode bellow 16xQ looks better. They should fix this.

Crysis 1 also looked like sh!t even with 16xQ - Quardo 266.87.

I'll test with theese and post back.

 

I'ma installing these 266.77 drivers right now.. Going to run some benches and see what's up with them. I was getting about an extra 4 fps or so with Mafia 2/Dirt 2 tho.. Going to run Heaven and 3DMark11 and see if there's any significant change.

 

Scaling option still greyed out. No biggie tho.
