i recently had to add a booster to my comp because i was experiencing exactly what you are now. not saying it is your PS, but its very possible. once i eleviated the stress on my PS everything ran alot smoother and no more hangs or re-starts ...

Messed around with the control panel settings and got it fixed. Short on time right now, but I'll post a picture of my settings later today.

These are my settings to get rid of the light flicker in Oblivion. Pretty much just maxed everything out that I could. Have HDR lighting on and everything maxed out within Oblivion. Let me know if you have any questions.

    What do mean exactly?

I found the problem why i cult not OC my 2x Geforce GTX 460 1GB, for some
strange reason Unlock Voltage Control was on, so the Voltage was lower
    then standard:bang:

Sorry for the bad info i put here a page back.

I am playing Mass Effect 2 for a wile now (36 hours:) ) and I saw:

Export your savegames to Mass Effect 3... If you survive.

And now I know for certain that what happens in Mass Effect 2 will come in 3:)

This driver was giving me blue screens in windows 7 with a GTS 450. In fact every driver except the one on the driver disc 2.59.22 has been giving me problems.

Then there is something wrong with your Geforce GTS 450 or something els in
your Computer or Windows on your Computer.

If all the 26* drivers won't work on your Geforce GTS 450 it must be not the
    Driver.

Blue screen when? On boot, during games, desktop, random? How long until blue screen? How old is your HD? Do you have other components to test with? Overclocking at all? What are your temps like? Need more info.

Just finished Mass Effect 2 (43 Hours), what a unbelievable great game it is, the story is
one of the best i have seen in a Game(s).

And you can go so many ways, you can play the game 100 times and do it all different.

Can't wait for Mass Effect 3:)

Good driver performance-wise, but some icons are rendered badly.

I can't get the AA to work in Mass Effect 2, using this set of driver along with nvinpector.

Tried the default profile for that game and changing the AA compatibility as for DS1: 0x004030C0. of course with "override any app' setting.

This set of driver is my favourite till now, nothing bad to report at all

    could someone help me ?

    Are you using 16Bit colors?

32 bit. Not all the icons are rendered like that. Just some, and just with this driver.

Just letting you know that it's not a driver problem w/ the 266.58's. The default profile allows AA to work in Mass Effect 2. The game looks quite good in 8xQ mode. My eyes can't see any benefit to running additional transparency AA in this game so I've got it disabled (things like outdoor overhead cables have AA applied to them). Here is my untouched/default Nvidia Inspector profile.

Yes henrybravo is right i also have AA in Mass Effect 2.

Just go to NVIDIA Control Panel and then Manage 3D Settings,
and then to Mass Effect II and then Antialiasing - Mode to
Override any application setting, and then set the Antialiasing -
    Setting
to 2x, 4x or higher, and hit Apply, thats all.

I had big issues with this driver om my primary rig, an now I made another rig for the living room with GTX 460 1GB in SLI and with Vista 64bit, and I thought I'd give them a shot on this setup to see if it would be better.
Unfortunately not. The driver throw's fanspeed on my 2x Gigabyte GTX 460 OC 1GB all around, and they idle very high - around 40*c celcius.
I don't that the bad stutter problem on like my main rig (which pratically ruined it using windows 7).
I uninstalled the driver and went back to 263.14 which is the same I use for my main rig, and you know what ! SILENCE.... fan speeds on the cards were the same and idle temps dropped to around 32*c !
263.14 driver along with the old 258.96 are the best I've used. For me the 266.58 has just been a disaster on two very different systemts.

Strange, i do not know what you are doing but on my Computer with also 2x
Geforce GTX 460 1GB they work perfect, i have absolutely no problem, and i
    use Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

    FurMark 1.8.2 in Multi-GPU mode:

After 10min and Room temp 21c

    GPU1: 75c Max
    GPU2: 81c Max

    So no problem here.
