AMD Catalyst 11.1a Hotfix (8.82.2) Win7 x86/x64 19.01.2010

These 19th ones are them it seems, well they working fine

 

is there any way to create a profile like in the older ones ?
My 5970 has the 2d clock problem (I will RMA her but i am waiting for 2x 6970) and i nneded to get them a little higher...

Yes, Profiles are now called Presets

 

thanks but now when i go to the profile file its almost empty (in the previous versions i could manage clocks from there, and now i cant)... am i doing something wrong ? :\

 

i get artifacting with these on Dirt 2 OC'd, no problem with the early 11.1a hotfix drivers and no FPS improvement in Dirt 2. Even reducing OC's buy 10% it still artifacts. Nope back to older 11.1a drivers for me

I just installed this driver and now I have this error message with Prey: "LoadLibrary failed with error 126".
According to a quick google search, it looks like an old bug just came back to Win7.
Will there ever be a new catalyst release without new OpenGL problems?

Earlier in this Thread that i said i had 2nd screen flickering. I have now stopped it. I only installed the driver only not the CCC and it stopped so i tested it with CCC on and it started flickering again just to make sure . hmm still got the mouse lag tho but no flickering on screen and no CCC. So whats CCC got to do with the 2nd screen flickering?

 

11.1a is the hotfix TO the 11.1 WHQL? So if I had a 6870 I would just skip over and download the 11.1a? Also, anyone know if anything has changed since the leaked hotfix a few days ago?

 

Just download the hotfixe, nothings changed since the leaked hotfix, as its the same driver.

Under CCC 3D Application Settings I see:

SMOOTHVISION HD:Anti-Aliasing
SMOOTHVISION HD:Anisotropic Filtering
Catalyst A.I.
Wait for vertical refresh
Adaptive Anti-Aliasing
OpenGL Settings


Some people apparently get more choices?

I flashed an Asus BIOS. Then Tessellation showed up as an option in CCC. Same 11.1a driver package. Strange.

For me these driver is very nice. To tell honestly the best after cat 10.3. I am listing my improvements.

* For the 1st time in 14 months my Windows 7 arrow lag completely gone.
* Star Craft with 4XAA and 8XAF is completely smooth almost no shatter or lag.
* NFS Hot pursuit MLAA works very good.
* 3Dmark 11 score up from P3530 to P3680.
* Vantage score from P14700 to P14900.
* Lost planet improve from 22fps to 25fps DX 11 1920 X 1080 (still can't playable with DX 11 mode)
* Crisis warhead from fps 31 to 32.5 (all Enthusiast no AA DX10, 1920 X 1080).
* Haven from 28 FPS to 32 ( No AA 1920x 1080, DX 11 normal tessellation).
* No problem With Battle field bad company 2.
* No pink hue or mouse lag or desktop at 100% gpu load. No error in Videos.

Lost planet2, 3Dmark 11, and haven tessellation tests are done at 4X tessellation. For me these driver rocks and best driver ever.
