But it works with Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1.:bang:

I just installed Vista on another harddrive for dual boot... the 266.58 works fine there with 3-way-SLi - no issue. But as soon as I try on windows 7 it's all stutter....

I guess it's back to Windows Vista then.

nfs games have in deed always been cool on requirements(i play thoses since undergroud1). So i fully agree. its just that when i demand much more demanding eye-candy settings my fpses drop sooooo much. here is a capture of my demands(they are on test atm, not definitive at all :) )

It isn't playable this way... maybe using D3DOverrider ? ill test that now.
i am only trying to understand all those settings what they do(im kind of noobish~foolish) and get the best of my money and time(quiet the same thing at the end:infinity: )

Yes Betas and quadros are always better than the whqls for my gpu's,its very very rare i use a whql.

Even now im using a tweaked version of this driver(XG).

    hdmi and nv sound

    hi guys

im having a problem with hdmi and nvidia audio, in 263.09's when i disable hdmi sound in nv control panel the speakers in my monitor (asus vw266h) work fine with sound coming from my sound card connected with jack 3.5mm, with these 266.58's i disable hdmi sound but i doesnt change to the sound card. i connected some other speakers to the sound card and sound is coming out, but if i connect the monitor jack it doesnt come out to the monitor speakers if hdmi is connected, changing to dvi cable its all OK.
idk whats happening, anybody with a monitor connect with hdmi experiencing the same?

I am getting pretty horrid artifacts in Bioshock (single GTX295) since upgrading to these today... Like black lines, flickering, etc. Anyone else?

I fix the problem already, i disabled and enabled SLI again, and now it works
and i get higher 3DMark Vantage score.

How much have you OC your 2x Geforce GTX 460 1GB?

I get with standard clocks 3DMark Vantage P28751 (GPU: 25188).

Thats normal in BioShock 2 with SLI, you have to disable SLI for BioShock 2,
You have to go to NVIDIA Control Panel and then Mange 3D Settings and then
Program Settings and then BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams and set SLI rendering
    mode
to Singe-GPU, now you have no more artifacts, it's a known problem.

assuming that the driver's installation went ok, i'd say unstable graphic OC ?

Nope, no OC. Old driver 260.99 or whatever it was = played today OK. Installed new one (will try clean install now) = artifacts -> rebooted = artifacts.

I don't know what that issue is, but dirt 2 does and always has locked for me at shutdown. The computer still respons, the sound keeps going, but I have to ctrl+alt+del and manually close dirt 2 on exit.

BUT the game seems a lot smoother now, even though it always ran at 60 frames for me it used to kind of stutter every now and then and now it's perfect.

    O.T

No crashes in any games and good performance in RE5, I lost 8-10% performance in FC2 but gained some frames in other games, overall a perfect driver. good performance + dead space aa = win.

Ok,got it - they broke Ambient Occlusion support for Bioshock! 260.99 - Ambient Occlusion = fine. Turning it on (Performance or Quality) with these new drivers = artifacts. Can someone second that?

    Edit:
    >Adds ambient occlusion support for one of the most popular games of the year: Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty.

Must be related. You gain one, lose another ;)

yea i had it too with some drivers..

and i found another fix: go to gfx ingame menu and chose fixed aspect ratio instead of auto, if this doesn't help then update rapture3d even if you're not using it

Try disabling one of your graphics cards, some games dont like sli, although i thought NFS shift woulda been ok.

When playsing borderlands i get more fps when using 1 gpu so i have to disable 3 of the others otherwise i get horrible fps decrease.
