    @AmigaWolf:
Yes, disable it, boot to windows, restart and your set to go. DPC will drop like a rock aswell=good. There are usually only very moderate to slow PC's that benefit from HPET...
If your workaround resolves stutter completely and disabling HPET does not, then we are talking about two different things, wich sometimes occur when discussing issues in forums..

Mind you, I have not tested these latest drivers with HPET enabled, but I'll guess they are the same. The reason I can see small stutters in movies/series and others do not, is that I use FFDShow motion+ script@60fps, and even the smallest of stutter are very noticable... Last good driver I tried was 258.xx...

Looks like these drivers very interesting... got to test them as soon as i go to house from office... Currently running 266.44, they are butter smooth in all games expect AA crashing...

1 doubt: AA for NFS:HP should be enabled globally or just use program exe and set the settings?

    thanks in advance

I have set it manually by pointing to the NFSHP11.exe file . Works like a charm with 8x AA.

I tried doing a totally new and clean windows 7 install and just using the windows default drivers for sound and motherboard.

As soon I installed the 266.58 driver things went screwy once again and the desktop would lag like hell with hughe latency. As soon as the driver is removed everything is smooth. Testing out 263.09, 263.14, 266.44 everything ran smooth and soft.

This driver is definitely not for owners of Asus P7P55WS motherboards... and frankly I'm suspecting it to be an issue with the NF200 chips used on some X58/P55 platforms.

It's not recommended to connect an HDTV to a PC with VGA. Use DVI or HDMI.

Hi. I have noticed that the new drivers lack physx and hd audio drivers ( WinXP 32bit ). Anybody knows why ?

    No. Let me reiterate.

The "Clean Install" option does not have anything to do with the driver files you're referring to. If it is checked it just overwrites the Manage 3d settings you have selected in your prior driver installation. If you uncheck the box, it will preserve your settings and overrides from the prior driver for the new driver. That's *ALL* it does.

I confirm that these are not good in XP, did further tests as well.
Under win 7 x64 is a bit of improvement but still performance sux. Drops around 10fps compared to XP instead of 20 like it was before.

I think that users with sli 8800GT (9800mGTX sli like myself) are definitely screwed, thats a fact.

Has anyone had the low GPU usage bug in BC2? Everything was fine for me with 266.35 until two days ago, and now BC2 only uses about 25% of my GPU, and gives me 20-40 fps instead of 60-100...

Will install these shortly, hopefully they fix the problem :(

It is, at least under XP with SLI 8800gt (9800m GTX).

NFSHP with no AA hovers from 50 to 61

Cod BO goes from 65 to an average of 70

    Settings are 1200p,4xAA,All enabled,16xAF,No Vsync.

dunno hows things under X64 but CodBO was CRAP in sli under it.

Coz the AA issue was never fixed until now.
I wouldn't say they are perfect but I least now I like playing the game.
