It does have an effect on 11 score otherwise you would get the same exact score at 3.3 vs 4.2. several hundred points on this benchmark is a hell of a lot when you are getting 6000. several hundred on 06, or vantage doesnt really mean squat when you are getting 20,000+. I am getting 6100-6200+ on this bench and several hundred points is a hell of a lot. See where I am getting at man?

dont seem to be as much as u trying to make out does it 279 points

    6388 gtx580 3.3
    5915 gtx 470 3.3

    473 points not a great boost from a 470 to a 580

Ok David see his gpu speed it is very low. I run 900/4400 24/7 and can bench higher than. That. If this Guy raises his gpu clocks higher the difference will be greater. These 580's can run 950 plus on air. Watercooled they can go over 1ghz 24/7 if you have a good vid

Not saying u don't have a great card in fact its the highest 470 I have seen. But if your comparing scores. Like u posted both cards need to be tested at stock or clocked as high as both cards can go

this bench tests the gpu almost seperately from the cpu. You compare my benches with someone with an i7 but a 5870xfire or 5850 xfire for eg and our gpu scores are almost the same cept for the cpu+gpu bench.

My highest run with CFX Off was P8763

If you want to compare, you would need to bench the card on 1000MHz.

My point with this shown chart still is, that until today 10.5a+CAP4 is the only existing driver set on the market, which can utilize 5970 quadfire in 3DM11.

All later drivers from AMD/ATI will screw regarding quadfire!!

If you look on above chart you can see, that the highest QFX score from competitors was P7400. A single 5970 can score P8763 which means clearly: negative scaling on quadfire!

It is a shame for Futuremark, that their latest benchmark is still unable to give proper results for this hardware.

For 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12 and all related betas this CAP4 did not utilize QFX neither the 1.01 update from Futuremark changed this situation!

After years of development I cannot believe, that Futuremark release a benchmark, which does not show compareable results on current hardware and even after many users pointed this out again and again they are unable to fix this!! :bang:

The negative scaling on quadfire affects the 6970s as well, check this out: http://lab501.ro/placi-video/his-hd-6970-studiu-de-scalare-in-configuratii-multi-card/9

After testing, I agree that the 10.5's are the only ones that seem to work properly.

    http://3dmark.com/3dm11/315501 Here's my score on 3Dmark 2011 basic.

I've few questions about this, firstly is that 3588 score really all i can have without overclocking with this system?

Secondly my friend have amd phenom II X4 965 black edition & radeon HD 5770 and he gets little over 3800 points. Is the difference really real because i thought newer gpu would give slickly more points to me rather than to him about 300 points?

Thirdly why this 3dmark doesn't recognize my catalyst drivers? I've have just yesterday installed this windows after i updated some hardwares and i did download from amd site catalyst package 10.12. Could this effect to my score?
