^^lol u thought a bad inf was gonna prevent me from trying this driver at 5:00 in the morning ...

Here's a proper 64bit inf if you guyz have time to try it in between taking a poop and whatever you do next ...

I tried BC2 and i thought it ran great, 60+FPS all the time, but that was before i realized that there was only me playing on the server (didn't get any sleep yet), i then joined a a 32/32 server, i did get slightly better FPS than before but the GPU usage was still poop, like the bad ones people have been carrying for three days straight. Frame drops on certain maps making the game unplayable, it was like trying to run Crysis on consoles ....

P.S it was 5:30 am when i tried it, damn i was on fire,i don't like bragging but my aim was unbelievable

COD:BO ... i did get a 15% increase in GPU usage making it 85% in the menus compared to the 70% i had with the 265.90 ... still some framedrops in game, and GPU usage in game is crappier than ever ....

Can you tell me where exactly you are getting framedrops? As in the level? Couple of days ago I was testing how my OC stands against my friends stock 470, monitoring frames using fraps.

It was 50-60 during intense fights and 91 (game limit) other times. I then removed the limit and saw it go as high as 131. Played through the whole Prison level and 100+ FPS was in the ending bike scene.

    Edit: COD BO btw

What kind of difference? You do realize the reason people are excited for new drivers are for Fermi GPU usage fixes right?

Other then game specific stuff there are not going to be many optimizations for older hardware. Just like AMD drivers. If we are talking a frame or 2, that could just be within the +/- of the benchmarks.

They DON'T just fix Gpu usage on Fermi's! and also Scaling fixes :D, Scaling and Low Gpu usage was fixed on my GTX 260 with BFBC2

    Gpu usage is up in left4dead 2 ( 265.90 )

Too later, FW 266.44 hand on:wanker:

Big bug in the NFS Hot Pursuit 3 with FW 266.44, look at the memory usage...

That was a game specific thing though. With Fermi a lot of people are having GPU usage problems in ALL games.. Only benchmarks and a few DX11 games work right.

When people say the new drivers(or the Quadro and Tesla releases) and getting excited, it's because nVidia has said they are fixing Fermi specific issues.

Usually Phk gets drivers way before we do, if he posts them on here they get deleted, people moan and some accuse him of posting virus links. Jealousy, gotta love it :bang:

    I miss phk's driver posts

There is no such thing as a 266.44 driver.

Also i am curious how did you force AA in the game, so NFS supports AA NOW?

Yeah in Black Ops, first level ... when the guyz are getting ready to breach the door and fight the cops outside the bar, when i look at the closed door from the inside, there's a massive drop in FPS/GPU usage, when the door opens, it goes as low as 30FPS then slowly goes back up ... In xp however, 99% when looking at the closed door and 60%-80% GPU usage when fighting the cops outside, and FPS is constant

In BC2, i tried Conquest-White Pass and Conquest- Oasis, i do get crappy GPU usage, like 30% but the FPS goes upto 40, maybe 35 average, goes to 10FPS for barely a second and then goes back up. This happens every 10sec or so ...

maybe its this so called "everything fixed driver" that that guy ManuelG keeps babling about.. he said its gonna contain NFSHP2010 AA fix too.. check 263.14 driver for hints.
