holiday shopping on Steam

To the otherguy, why oh why do you install all the games on steam? Just download the ones that you play. I also have a 2TB drive and 2 640's but I usually have other stuff other than games on there.

 

Yeah, i got AVP thinking it would at least be good value, but i got very little enjoyment from the game other than going ooooooo the first time i saw the tessellation on the Aliens.

Lucky you Jae, i think i need another HDD, got three 1tb's, but should prob pull one out and replace it with a 2tb one, initially partitioned 500gb for games, thinking it would be enough, just didn't bargain on all the Steam, and even a few GFWL sales:3eyes:

Stukov, call it OCD, but i hate having games in Steam that aren't downloaded and installed, even if i rarely, if ever play them.

 

Lol yeh like Stuvok said, I just install the ones I want to play, I currently have the Half life 2 games and cinematic mod installed, NBA 2K11, Trine and will install BFBC2 for sum gamage tonite, but that's it, it helps that I have all 3 God of War games to play on PS3 tho

 

I enjoy AvP ,even online but to each is own.

Well, apart from the OCD side of things, i also never know how my finances go, so may not be able to download at a later date.

do you get random frame dips and a slight lag in the single player campaing? Itz annoying!!

Yeh I was never that interested in them but have looked at reviews and they look pretty darn great

 

nope not one ,seems i'm lucky then then,same with Black Ops not probs there even when ppl where and is still complaining.
I've finished all 3 campaign without probs and for a DX 11 games it ran really well imo.

 

I enjoyed alien vs predator single player....never tried the MP

It is well worth $5 IMO

I never had any issues with AVP, not the best performance ever, but i did max it, so didn't expect a solid 60fps from it.

 

just bought beat hazards 5 mins before the deal ended, and im glad i did! amazing game.

edit: nevermind, i just watched a few youtube videos. it looks like you can make some pretty spectacular derailments.

 

Gave in and got Just Cause 2 + Avp for 11 euros.

 

omg so many games.. its good I am on Christmas break i can play some :infinity:

 

Alright you guys convinced me to get AVP and JC2, but I still don't know if the DLC is worth getting with it or not?
