It's Battlefield Play4Free. They took the maps and vehicles from BF2 and mashed them together with the weapons and classes from BC2. So you get all the fun of being cannon fodder for jets, but you don't have to put up with the glitchy guns of BF2.

I expected some BF2 thing. But it looks like BF2 with graphics CUT DOWN. Cmon... its a 5years old game... i hope they include everything. Also only my most hated map on beta :wanker:
bahh, cant connect to server...Connection Lost.... A lot of people have this Problem its in the Forums there..ok, then i have to wait..
It's not bad, a bit laggy due to server location but other than that the gameplay is tight. The graphics have been updated a bit with a few shader effects and the HUD has been updated to fit with modern LCD screens. Here's a couple of snaps, the game has a film grain effect over the top of it.
Some of the maps of Bf2-Wake,karkand,Sharqi,dragon valley,fushe pass,jalabad,oman,dalaman,daqiung....ALL of these maps are so well made and piss all over Bc2 maps Period.
I can't play again. My cursor disappeared when I set the game full screen, but it looks like I can just Tab the menu. :/ Oh yeah... XBox is better than Playstation.
Oh yeah, no squads, no grenades, no commander, no UAV, no artillery, no spawn selection other than the choice of battle/base, no prone and the vehicles appear to be nerfed as well. The command rose has been simplified to god knows what... @nhloko: That's a dumpster.
Wait a sec... there are nades and the vehicles get a secondary weapon, you unlock them through persistent perks. There's all kinds of stuff available to me ATM, like climb ladders faster, decrease falling damage, show enemy nades, show vehicle health. It's pretty cool.
