    quick impressions :

    - Metro 2033 seems the same as previous driver.
    - Crysis runs with 2-3 fps boost from previous drivers
    - Vantage score went up a bit
    - Starcraft II runs the same as previous drivers
    - Mafia II runs the same as previous drivers
    - TF2 shows the same average fps as previous drivers
    - BC2 runs smooth, no problems the same as previous drivers
    - Fallout New Vegas runs a bit better than previous drivers

that pink issue is fixed for me, for some reason temperature seems lower on IDLE than previous drivers and it match with GPU-Z which is a good
    thing.

so far im pleased with these drivers, they are working fine on my 5870
no problems noticed - 1080P movies also are flawless on VLC..
il keep those seems stable and good ones.

have a nice day everybody, going back to Darksiders.. :)

is the "AMD Catalyst 10.12 Preview for Windows 7– Featuring the new Catalyst Control Center" actually the same as the other two drivers below except that it has the new Catalyst UI?? I mean is the performance the same?

If so I would download the "Catalyst Software Suite (64 bit) English Only" cause I don't bother with a new Catalyst look. Important for me is the performance and that's it.

I noticed a nice difference in CoD:Black Ops. Ran so much smoother overall. Vantage was the same on crossfire 6870s. I did test out a HD5970. I gained about 500 points on GPU in Vantage compared to 10.10e.

Overall nothing bad to report. I still get the 99% gpu usage on my second 6870 from time to time.

WEI score stayed the same for me (7.8).
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit still stutters from time to time and FPS drops to 50 or so (which is very noticeable in this game since it's designed to run at 60fps), but somehow control feels a bit more responsive

    They are keepers for me.

Games all run the same (Mafia II, Metro 2033, SpiderMan SD and BFBC2)

Just a quick note... I find the new CCC more responsive than the previous one. I mean everytime I clicked to apply a new setting there was a bit of delay, and with this new one there is none.

    Cheers!

The last set of installed drivers were the official 10.11 (no MLAA). I have used every consecutive driver version where some show improvement and some do not. But none have caused any negative effects. The only issue I've had is on a bad install which stopped a few games from loading but it was not a specific driver issue.

The reasons I would give for updating is to improve loading times in BFBC2, to gain a couple of fps in Crysis and to try out morphological anti-aliasing on a 5xxx gen card. But that's only if you have games like Dead Space or GTA IV which would benefit from it.

Ok, just found the advanced options in preferences. Much better.
It doesn't suck as hard. :)

    Things i like:
    Fast

    Dislike
    1. Icons suck. Should be more stylised.
    2. Navigation is clumsy especially in standard view. Advanced does fix this up.
    3. No built in profiles.
    4. Overall theme

I use SSD so both CCC versions were loading and working fast, but I agree new CCC seems to be a bit snappier. Maybe they upgraded to a newer .NET framework 3.0 version. Why 3.0 is my guess? Because Vista already comes with it preinstalled. That would also explain why new CCC2 does not support Windows XP. Even though you can download .NET framework 3 and newer and use on XP, but again most people are not tech savvy and don't really know what it is or why it is and it's just an annoyance for them having to download and install something separately. AMD could have used even faster multi core optimized .NET framework 4 version, but again, they didn't for the same reasons I think.

Scores like these don't mean anything. If it was a difference of 100+ then yea

    Wondering the same. Any workaround?

Here I am watching the site in 800x600 because the ccc2 did not let me install it!

Morphological AA option dissappeared. Now I can't turn it off. The option used to be under AA.

Any help on how to turn it off ?

Manual fan control when using Sapphire Trixx is broken after installing these drivers. It works for about 30 seconds then goes back to automatic.

I've tried many Anisotropic Filter settings, and with 3DCenter filter tests seem don't change anyhing (like previous drivers).

RadeonPro can't enable MLAA and stuff with 10.12 drivers.

Had two screen freezes since installing these. Thought it was a BSOD until I realised iTunes was still playing a podcast in the background.

Not happy at all. Feel like us 68xx users are being taken for a ride here.

So now how long will I be stuck with 10.10e then? How many months?

Check if they aren't corrupted, or your system (clean, overclock, etc).
I don't think it can cause easy BSOD.
