Birthday conundrum: Halo Reach or Black Ops?

LOL, it probably was just the first map, but I was so disappointed I HAD to return it. It was probably the worst buyers remorse I have ever had. I may pick it up in a few months once all the used copies from Christmas are turned in & the price drops. For the $50 I dropped on it I can buy Black OPs for the PC & I know I get at least 120 hours of MP gaming out of it before it gets old. With that being said I won't be getting Black OPs either until the price drops.

I just wish Diablo III's release date hadn't been pushed back as I'd have something to look forward to in the next few months. Off the top of my head there doesn't seem to be much to look forward to on the PC in the next couple months. Don't get me wrong there are a few potentially decent games, but nothing to hang my hat on.

Right now it's a tough decision, don't got too much cash on me that I'll spend on both but may happen if push comes to shove.

Good question. It was a fairly unique game & fun at the time though. Maybe Valve fanboyism?

 

Ill have to go with reach. I have both. and Black Ops is a bunch of fun. it just feels.I dunno like Ive played the same game for the last 3 years. No I'm not trying to rip COD. its still one of my favorite game franchise(even though they been screwing PC since W@W) but you kinda need a break from that game, and Reach will fill in real well.

The game modes alone will sell you. Excellent co-op, great multiplayer, even thought people keep voting the same freaking maps!

The big thing for me was the controller though. I don't understand why they can't let a game have M/KB support.

COD is sht, no character or memorable moments anyway..its just milkig the series..MW2 was better than COD BO interms of story and the progress of it..but thats personal choice anyway..

anyway, let him buy HALO pls..it will be surprising to him.REACH is best HALo of all times..did u played it? if for 20 minutes, just play more pls

Fantasy FPS? So what is Fallout, AvP, Bioshock, HL2, Unreal Tournament, etc.....

 

To be precise i don't like the characters model, enemies weapons..They look ugly and too cartoony uke2:
Fallout, AVP character, enemies are cool
I don't play bioshock and unreal is just too unreal
I don't like futuristic fps too

 

futuristic? how do you deal with fallout and AVP then?

 

For fallout i've never use any laser, plasma gun. AVP weapon mostly is not too futuristic in human campaign, not too sure about this because i just reached the swamp level
