Supposedly Kazunori Yamauchi said on his tweet recently that an update for the game was coming sometime this month which will allow us to backup our game save to another storage device.

 

According to GT Planet the 1.03 update and 3.55 firmware updates are out now. No notes on changes.

did they fix the b-day glitch? lol gtplanet peeps were all like omg update i hope they fixed the b-day junk, not omg i hope they patched damage etc in!

 

Apparently not. Im considering doing it lol. The only thing thats stopped me so far is it kind of feels like cheating.

 

I did it yesterday got my 330 p4 i wanted just for giggles. Had to open 20 tickets to get one 330 got like 5 ford gts. I mean 100+ million worth of cars and cars that have limited use really, what 3 4 races you can actually use them in, and only one you sorta have to have that calliber of car for. and for online i rather race something a bit more modern.

But it is a bit of a pita i mean 5 to 10 minutes to set up an account and between loading times and setup screen takes about a minute per ticket, so took me about a half hour to generate 20 tickets that neted me my ferrari.

So yea it is kinda silly but the cost of those cars while realistic i guess is kinda silly for the amount of use you would ever get out of them. I certainly could blow 100 million easy just buying cars i might use plus tuning, plus repairs. And i got to blow 4.5 million on that one race car you can get that is premium since i hate driving standard cars .

 

I wont bother with that glitch myself, i will still be playing this game well into next year so i will eventually get that B'day car on my actual B'day, I'm i no hurry, this games going to keep me coming back for the foreseeable future.

LOL sorta my enzo is trashed atm letting bob use it for the championship races that got me my Zonda r car, saved me 2.8 mil but now my enzo needs about a million worth of chassis and engine repairs ;( Did buy me a mclaren f1 yesterday omg what a car.

Still got a bunch of cars just to buy to finish race series up.

 

I would love one of those Ford race cars if your feeling generous

EDIT: What an awesome exploit... Its 2am and i really should be in bed as at 8am ill be a stay at home dad today but i'd rather more cars in GT... BRING ON THE REDBULL!!

 

lol ok i will gift you one when my b spec moron wins this last race then done with this series.

if i do it again i probably will go with 69 or 70 and try to get some of them older race cars.

i'm really tempted to get the 787B through bday.. but it's cheating...... but I also want the 787B badly..

 

Just think of all those people that got a 787 free for pre ordering. Over here EB games was giving out all the stealth cars to people who pre ordered the standard edition of GT5.

 

yea i wonder how many of those people that got the pre order cars bitch about people using the bday method for getting cars. seriously they got a few million worth of cars free. where we had to buy them all. ;p
