Turok was awesome back in the day. shame the screwed up the newest one, after part 2 they just kept screwing it up.

As you probably know when Return of the Jedi came out at cinema (1983) if you ever dreamed of zooming through the forest on Endor on a speederbike shooting at others and dodging the trees then this was the game for you,games were so much more original and more left to the imagination years ago which used to highten the experience of play.

We really are spoilt by todays standards.

 

Yes, indeed. It was a pretty fun game...seemed so "open world" at the time.

Here's one I also played near that time on my 486 DX2 w/8 megs of RAM and a 200 meg HDD! (purchased from Fast Micro...and an ad in Computer Shopper).



And, shockingly, it seems a lot longer but the one below was from just this last decade:

The one above is Turbo Esprit (I think), which I thought was awesome at the time and the second one is Chuckie Egg 2. These do bring back memories, sigh!
