Hello Im having problems with my GTX470, I already open a tread on evga forum, but isnt easy to solve this situation so far, please check the link below have the complete story, http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=681724 some suggestion ? I try install a previus chipset drivers(9.1.1.1025) and Im waiting for a new bios to test. regards
it's only there when SLi enabled... so explain what is happening and what you've done both hardware and software wise???
I try using the GTX470 on my brother Pc everything fine, try my old GTX295 I dont get any problem, use old graphic driver, installed a fresh windows 7, updated all drivers (LAN, chipset, audio). So I think its some incompability with my graphic and board :S EDIT: I DonĀ“t a 2nd 470 lol, its only one GTX470
Which video bios are you using? I have seen on GPUZ website that there are 3 differents bios of each version of evga 470 card. http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/...turer=EVGA&model=GTX+470&interface=&memSize=0 but latest release seems to be quite old, so I guess you already have it.
I have the latest bios version, I found maybe the problem, now I get some artifact when windows is loading, but on benchmark I dont get any prolem.. so I sent to RMA for having artifacts when windows is loading??
That is a strange behavior. I would have expected the opposite for a faulty GPU. What type of benchmark are you using? Maybe you can try first some stressing tests like FurMark, OCCT or Kombustor and see if you have artifacts.
I'm using this latest Intel chipset driver ,Ver: 9.1.2.1008 on my MSI Eclipse x58 running sli:http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=10884&ProdId=3018&lang=eng Maybe this helps ?
I will try right now I ran Kombuster, furmark, Unigine and I dont get any artifact edit: I was watching Portugal vs Spain so now its too late tomorrow I will check
Restore factory defaults in your BIOS and see if you still have the problem. I wonder if it couldn't be a memory fault in your system.
Since I install the chipset driver that civato showed I dont have any problem, but when i called to the store, they said maybe its a problem ith the last graphic card they have, 4 of them were to RMA. if that happen again i will try your suggestion mate, Restore factory defaults in BIOS
cool. do not know if it is worth to try in that case the 9.2.0.1015 WHQL version (that is the one i'm using) http://www.station-drivers.com/page/intel chipset.htm or even the 9.2.3.1003 alpha
I will try it, but I need a few more day to confirm that blackscreen was a problem with chipset driver
well, I dont got any blackscreen but, when windows is loading shows sometimes alot of white squares, so RMA
