Looks alright but it only has 6 SATA ports, that's a deal killer for anyone with a lot of hard drives. I'm happy with my 12, thanks.

At least they finally cut out the useless ATA and floppy slots. I've always considered those a preposterous waste of space and money. Sadly even my own motherboard has them. :3eyes:

That looks sexual, manufacturers like Gigabyte need to take a page from these guys' book.

How is that a bad thing? You should never feel bad about a technological investment becoming obsolete rapidly considering it's common knowledge that happens all the time. I hope the next generation of CPUs/mobos beat the mothercrap out of what I have now, the faster technology advances the better.

    You should never kill someone

You should never eat tons of candy

You should never be jealous that a friend is doing well.

Ect, there are alot of "You should" situations like you described that just aren't true to life.

Someone could buy a 52'' LCD TV, then 6 months later the LED's roll off the line, which have the low power consumption & light weight of the LCD's, and the picture quality of the Plasma screens. You'd feel abit "oof" there.

Yeah but the lcd would still be pretty darn nice, just as his x58 will still be pretty good... I agree faster things advance the better.

    Small typo:

Should be 'not', otherwise great preview.

I do have high hopes the the Lucid Hydra succeeds, it would be great to be able to mix AMD and Nvidia graphic cards, in particular Nvidia due to their CUDA ability.
