    i agree with you but i must say well, if u play starcraft and bc2 then these drivers are set to go, cuz sc2 is better on these drivers than the /10.5
    =(

    Really strange still, I have had same issues as everyone with xfire/dx11 issues since 10.5a, but now with 10.10c and later (10.10d atm) have been fantastic in both bc2 and moh mp.

    Edit: Only issue I got still with those 2 games is if I use MLAA and there is alot of smoke on scree, my fps goes under 60fps (capped), but not with much, 55-58fps. But still enough to make you notice, Im trying 10.9a cap again to see if that helps as I didnt see it earlier?

    I've been having problem with invisible things in SC2 with 10.10d, will these driver fix it?

    They should. Blizzard recommends disabling Cat A.I. to stop that from happening. These drivers have only a dummy .blb file, so the faulty SC2 profile will not be used. Worth a try - if you are commited to using the newest available hotfix drivers :)

    My understanding is that this 10.10d profile was to boost SC2 performance, but since it's causing problem... what's the point of this hotfix?

    Yea i will try disabling Catalyst A.I.

    This modded driver is great, however my temperature reach 80 degrees becuase the GPU load is always at 100%. I used to only get 60% GPU load when running starcraft, I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

    No, it's not. I am running a 4870 and my GPU usage never even reaches 70%. Let alone the temps - 63c under full load.

    Add the following lines to your Variables.txt (My Documents -> Starcraft II):

    frameratecap=58
    frameratecapGlue=58

    or with V-Sync enabled:

    frameratecap=60
    frameratecapGlue=60

    and check again. Might be that ATI has included the frame cap in it's own profiling.This would be interesing and made them an actually viable addition. Some cards with improper cooling can get burned by "render as much fps as possible" games. I've always used these commands, so I've never had such problems.

    You seem to rather have a similar rig than my, how did you feel with these?

    I am going to try the last release as I'm a bfbc player.. I felt great with these drivers, but I feel i'm still higher with 10.5 from twl 1.08

    I think these drivers and 1.08 TWL's are the best drivers to me, 10.5a with higher performance, but these seems more stable and also are based on newer drivers, which is, in terms of compatibility, better...

    I should make thougher comparisons but I lack time :p

    To be honest, nothing likes my system more than the 8782a with a dummy .blb file. With the new hotfixes/modded drivers I can hear the driver asking the .blb for instructions and that makes them a little less fluent. HDD is making a small "blip" and this doesn't happen with the 8782a (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=330602). You need to replace the file yourself (system32 folder) and set Cat A.I. to Standard to avoid hiccups. In my case this results in better performance than with 1.08 TwL's driver and same IQ as with A.I. off.

    Don't know about BC2, but SC2 simply loves it.

    Interesting, I don't seem I have ever tried the 8782a, where can I find them? Could you point me a link..? I should give them a go...

    Last great drivers ever used were the 8.12 now that I remember off...

    thanks!

    asdasfas... how blind I am.. Sorry!

    By the way, what do you usually test in order to know a driver is good for you mroe than any other previous....? Just for me to know..

    for example in my case, I just happened to see that Fallout 3 lost 20FPS between 10.5a and 10.9....

    Comes with every driver set... CCC > 3D tab.. 3D Preview pane shows plain as day when you change IQ settings. :)

    To test drivers I use:
    CS:S Video Stress Test (all maxed) as a D3D9 benchmark
    Furmark for OpenGL
    In-game SC2 - it's very fragile and has noticeable hiccups and/or FPS drops with some drivers.

    BTW, I've learnt not to judge too quickly. Sometimes, if the windows driver assessment does not go as good as intended, it takes some time before it goes full speed. Just take that into consideration before giving a final note. 20FPS lost is a lot - that may be just a profiling screw-up, rather than driver's fault.

    So it's all about the same performance but 10.10d have a light improvement for DX9 ALU and Texture Load performance.

    Mmm, this looks nice indeed.
    I will try yours.
    Also, thank you for the "Tweaks!" post at Steam forums. It was helpful. Specially the network section. I was able to reduce ping by 5~10 ms.

    Thanks a lot.

    One little feedback from my part.
    I recommend you to use 7zip to compress the drivers using the LMZA Algorithm. It will reduce the drivers size quite some.

    You can do it yourself.
    Just, edit the first post and instead of editing normal, go advanced.

    Also, thanks for everything. Will download the new drivers and test them soon!
