    Hey Folks,

I dunno if this is a known issue or not but here we go ...

    • I a fairly sure I know how to change a driver. DL new driver, uninstal old driver, use Drivesweeper, reboot and instal new driver
    • The problem I have is I cannot access my Nvidia Control Panel and every time I try it tells me some msg or other and when I try and instal a new driver it always fails because of the nvidia control panel issue
    • I now assume it is something to do with Windows Vista
    • The fact that my pc is running 196.21 which are WHQL driver released on the 19th Jan this year that I didn't instal AND my pc is 1 yr and 10 mnths old
    • This means (to me) that windows has been updating the drivers of my gfx card to the current WHQL version behind my back but won't let me put anything I want in or give me access to the nvidia control panel
    • Can anyone confirm this?
    • I am banging my head against this wall again because I got Civ V and can't turn the AA on ...

So any advice would be appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Law.

Try running the installer as administrator.

have you tried to install older drivers?

Maybe this is a windows' issue.. and if so you'd have to reinstall it..

    Try with your UAC off.
