Is Fallout3 finally playable on 9xxx series cards with this driver. Had horrible pauses with every single driver release before. Could somebody confirm this ??

 

There is nothing wrong with them if you know how to use them...

 

I agree, Drive sweepers are useless.

 

smoother than before.. some flickering but not that much as before..

 

There's a difference between driver sweeper and driver cleaner. I'm using the latter for exampel and it has helped me more than once now.

 

+1 for driver cleaner pro , had the full version for years , didnt like the 20.63 so i installed the whql over the top (as i have been doing recently as im getting lazy) had all sorts of issues , uninstall then use DC pro in safemode issues went away.

so driver issues can be rare but when they do rear their ugly head they can be bad , real bad , and a good driver cleaner can save the day so they aint entirely useless

You can blame DriverSweeper all you want , but i'll leave it as it's funny how these beta's are out and yet people are blaming DriverSweeper for issues. Yet in the last two years or more i've hardly read ANY complaints about driversweeper!.

Yes i had issues with the latest beta's and yes i use driversweeper , but do i blame driversweeper? NO. Reason is , i've just gone back to the previous drivers and lo and behold my issues are FIXED but guess what i used to go back to the old drivers .

The 5870 performs close to the GTX480 yet it consumes less power to do so, that's what I meant by Optimized quit well.

And there is no need being an Ass, you don't own Nvidia brand so don't be so sensitive it is only an opinion, and in my opinion ATI sucks ass when it comes to drivers with multi card setup and that's what made me switch from 2 5870 to 2 GTX480.

 

Fix the damn AvP sky bug!

 

As long as you stick with the nvidia display or physx selection it will not screw up your system. Most people that have problems with driver sweeper or any other driver cleaner have no idea what they are doing. I have used driver sweeper with ccleaner and have never had a problem ever with a nvidia driver. When i say never i mean never. Of course i have my own process when i get rid of nvidia drivers that i bet 90% of people here probably don't do.

Oh and still no problems since the beta release.

So Palit has updated bios, for GTX460 1GB Sonic Platinum, which version are now, any changelog?
EDIT: Ok, i updated the bios, but now my memory clock is only at 4*950MHz!! (It should be 1000MHz*4=4000MHz). What's going on!? Anyone have this problem too? :wanker:

 

Better performance with these drivers, best so far. No problems in none of the games i have tested so far with my setup and card.

 

Does the new bios fix the hard lock issue with 260.63 or still the same problem?

Yes... finally, i also had that problem.

 

bug. under adobe photoshop cs3. using marquee tool while draging mouse doing selection driver stops responding and quickly restores. note: i use windows DPI settings to medium. could be that and not driver. can anyone confirm
